Chapter 20

An hour later Lea got out of her house and she saw Finnick already waiting for her. She was wearing a red dress with white flowers on it and some comfortable open-toe heels.

"Waaw you look stunning, Baby," Finnick said as he walked over to her and kissed her.

"Where are we going?" Lea asked with her eyes full of excitement

"Ah, it's a surprise, so I will have to put on this blindfold," Finnick grinned. "Do you trust me?" Finnick asked.

"Of course I trust you," Lea said.

Finnick then put the blindfold over her eyes and led her towards the beach. Once they got to the beach, Finnick took off her blindfold. Finnick had set up a Picknick on the beach with all of her favorite foods and a lot of cozy blankets and cushions.

"Ohh Finn, It's beautiful, thank you so much," Lea said as he hugged him. After he released her from the hug, he took her hand and they sat down on the blanket.

There were different kinds of food, some homemade sandwiches, different kinds of cheeses, fruits, chocolate cookies, and best of all, chocolate strawberries.

"Omg, you remembered how much I love Chocolate strawberries," Lea said enthusiastically.

"Of course, I remember, We used to eat that a lot when we were children," Finnick said

"Did you make all of this by yourself?" Lea asked.

"Well, I tried but Mags ended up helping me a little bit," He admitted.

"I love it, I think I might just have the most amazing Boyfriend in the world," Lea said.

"I hate to admit it, but I am pretty great," Finnick laughed and Lea hit him playfully in his stomach.

"You are so cocky," Lea said.

"And you love me for it," Finnick said.

"Of course I do," Lea said

The two ate all of the food and talked a bit more and after they were done eating, Lea moved a bit closer to Finnick until she eventually was lying in his arms. After a while, the sun set and they slowly watched the sun fall into the sea.

"You know, I told my grandma about the talk I had with President Snow after cause I felt guilty about it, putting her on the spot like that, just to get out of something," Lea said.

"Baby, you did that to save us, I'm sure she didn't blame you for that. What did she say?" Finnick said

"Well, she was very understanding and was not mad at all, but I'm scared Finn, what will happen when he finds out that she is still alive? Will he come after her and try to kill her?" 

"Well he still thinks that she is dead, so we shouldn't be worried about that for now, also didn't he do everything to erase her from everybody's mind all those years ago? Finnick asked. 

"Well yes, he erased the tapes from the Games," Lea said. 

"If he erased those tapes, and tried so hard to make everybody forget about her, why would he look for her?" Finnick said. 

"You are right, let's hope that he doesn't, and even if he does, I told her that she lives in a village full of victors and that we will all protect her," Lea said. 

"Hahaha of course we will, we are one badass club here," Finnick laughed. 

"I'm very scared about what the future will bring, I mean everything is Great now, but it seems like it is almost too good to be true," Lea said as she turned her head to look at Finnick
