Capitol
Lea opened her eyes and was in a room that she didn't recognize. The room was empty beside a matrass on the other side of the room. She tried to move but noticed her hands were chained to the wall.
She realized that she was going to get punished, maybe even killed for what she said during the interview with Caeser. But to her, it was all worth it. She would choose Finnick's life over hers every single time. If she had to hurt, to make sure that he was okay, she was fine with that.
In some way, being chained to the wall was even better than marrying Nathan Crane. He was a scumbag and being married to him was worse than being imprisoned. She didn't understand how he could be so cruel and such a horrible person when his brother was one the sweetest people she had ever met. She had hoped that maybe she would see Seneca in his little brother but he was nothing like him.
"Look who is finally awake," President Snow said with a smirk on his face.
Lea didn't say anything, she just looked at him with an angry look on her face.
"I certainly hope you are comfortable since this is where you will be staying for a while," Snow said.
"Do you treat, all your grandchildren like this?" Lea spat
"The ones who speak out of line, yes," Snow said.
"You know, I don't understand why you did it. I thought that we had finally established a relationship of mutual respect," Snow said.
"A relationship of mutual respect? Sure," Lea spat while rolling her eyes.
"You know, Lea, I was willing to give you everything you wanted. If you had just listened you would have been part of my family and you would have had a great life," Snow said.
"You think that being part of the Capitol is the life I always wanted?" Lea scoffed.
"It is certainly better than what you are left with now, which is nothing," Snow said with an evil smile on his face.
"I rather rot in here, than pretend to be the happy granddaughter who is married to a Capitol bastard," Lea spat.
"Oh but that is where you are wrong," Snow laughed.
"What do you mean?" Lea asked.
"After your stay in here, you are still going to marry Nathan Crane," Snow grinned.
"You can't be serious?" Lea scoffed.
"You should know by now, that I am always serious," Snow said.
Lea just stared at him, in disbelief. She couldn't believe that she still had to marry Nathan.
"So what is my punishment then?" Lea bluntly asked.
"That depends on you," Snow said.
"What do you mean?" Lea confusedly asked.
"Tell me more about the rebel plan and you will be set free," Snow said.
"What if I don't know anything about the rebel plan?" Lea asked, raising her eyebrows.
"My dear Granddaughter, one thing that I have learned is that you are pretty inventive, you managed to figure out our plans to attack District 13 so I'm sure you know more about the rebel plan," Snow scoffed.
"Even if I did, I would never tell you. They are going to save me, all of us. Finnick will save me," Lea spat as Snow started laughing hysterically.
"Oh you foolish girl," Snow said as he continued laughing.
