Capitol
Lea woke up and noticed that her hand was cuffed to the bed frame. They probably tied her to the bed, to not risk her leaving her room again.
"What the Hell?" Lea said to herself whilst trying to get out of the cuffs
"It was a necessary precaution, after all, you did punch a peacekeeper," Snow said. He was sitting in the corner of Lea's room. Lea didn't see him at first, only when he started to talk, she noticed him.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know you were here and I'm sorry for punching a peacekeeper," Lea said. She had to stay nice 'cause she really didn't want to be on her grandfather's bad side.
"Why exactly did you do that? You do know that we only want to keep you safe. Don't forget that you would be dead if it wasn't for me. We rescued you out of that arena and did everything possible to make sure that you wouldn't die of your injuries. You should be thankful for that," Snow said.
He was right, she was only alive because of him. She was stabbed pretty badly so it is a miracle that she even made it out alive.
"You are right, I am sorry," Lea said.
"I will forgive you this one time, but know that being my granddaughter, don't excuse you from everything," Snow said while folding his hands together.
"I will behave better, I promise," Lea said.
"Good, then I am sure you wouldn't mind doing me a little favor to repay me for saving your life?" Snow asked.
"What do I have to do?" Lea asked.
"In a few days, you will do an interview with Caeser, admitting to everybody here that you are on our side and openly ask the rebels to stop what they are doing now. To make everybody believe that you are on our side, I want you to tell everybody that you just found out that you are my granddaughter and you couldn't be happier that you are finally home," Snow said.
If she came on TV, that message would be broadcast around the Districts and that meant that Finnick would see it. This was her chance to show Finnick that she was still alive.
"Here is written down, exactly what you have to say," Snow said while handing her a note.
"I am not saying that Finnick will hear this," Lea said.
"That is exactly why you have to say it," Snow grinned.
"I can't do that to him, I love him," Lea said.
"You are on different sides, he betrayed us and you," Snow sighed as he studied Lea's face. He knew that was not going to be able to convince her without giving something in return.
"How about, if you give you interview, exactly as it is, written down. I will allow you to visit your friends at certain times during the day," Snow proposed.
Lea thought about it for a second. She didn't want to hurt Finnick but she knew seeing her friends was the only way, she would say sane during her time in the Capitol. She knew that doing the interview alone would make him see that she was still alive and she hoped that that was enough for now and that he would realize that the things she said weren't true. She hoped that their love was strong enough. Strong enough to overcome all of this and one day hopefully they would still be able to live the life that they had always dreamed of.
"Deal," Lea said.
"Always great doing business with you," Snow Smirked. "Your Friend Johanna has to do a propo with me today but after that, you can visit her, I will send a peacekeeper to pick you up," He said before walking out of Lea's room.
