Chapter 16

Once in the hovercraft, Lea immediately passed out due to the blood she had lost from the wound on her shoulder and because she was so tired and overwhelmed from all the events from the past days, that it just consumed her. Once Lea was back in the capitol, still unconscious she was brought to the medical wing in the tribute center for her shoulder wound to get treated and for further checkup. As soon as she wakes up she is surrounded by doctors, one who was treating her shoulder injury and two other ones who were monitoring her state. Seeing all the doctors, she panics and tries to get up

"Please get away from me, I won, you can't kill me, please," Lea pleaded. 

"Nobody is trying to harm you, Miss Miller, we are just trying to help you," One of the doctors said. 

"No, no you are going to kill me, just like you killed him," Lea screamed while trying to get off of the bed.

"Miss Miller, please calm down, we need to to assess the severity of your injuries." The other doctor said.

Lea was still panicking, she put her knees to her chest and started crying. 

"We can't treat her if she is going to act like this, we have to sedate her," one of the doctors said as she grabbed a needed and walked towards her. 

"No please, don't kill me, I have to see Fin," Lea tried saying as the doctor put the needle in her arm, making her pass out immediately.

Finnick's POV

"What do you mean I can't see her, why the hell not," Finnick screamed at the doctor who came outside of Lea's room. 

"We had to treat Miss Millers' injuries but she wasn't cooperating, so we had to sedate her," The doctor said. 

"What the hell gave you the right to sedate her, don't you know what she had been through,' Finnick yelled. 

"We know, Mister Odair, but we had to," The doctor informed. 

"You bastard, You had absolutely no right, I need to see her now!" Finnick screamed as he took the doctor by his throat and slammed him against the wall. 

Tyler came into the tribute center and ran towards them trying to get Finnick off the doctor. 

"Finnick, come on man you have got to calm down, you will see her soon enough," Tyler said. 

"I need to see her now Tyler, I need to know if she is okay," Finnick sobbed. 

Tyler pulled him into a hug as he said, "I know buddy, you will soon,"

Lea's POV

Lea had just woken up, blinding fluorescent light right above her eyes. She was in a recovery room in the tribute center in the capitol. She couldn't remember anything from after she was pulled into the hovercraft. She had no idea how she got into this room in the first place. She needed to see Finnick, why wasn't he with her? she thought to herself. Was he going to leave her again? No that can't be true, he would never do that again and now that she was a victor, they could be together cause President Snow aka her grandfather couldn't hold hurting her against Finnick anymore, he had already made her suffer enough, and he couldn't kill the newest victor of the Games. 

"Doctor please, Can I see her now? It's been 5 hours already," She heard a voice, that she recognized as Finnick's say outside of her room. 

"Let me check, if she is awake, if she is, you can see her but only if you promise to behave," The doctor said.
