Its not over until the Mockingjay sings - F. Odair

Prologue

She was running as fast as she could, trying to escape from Coriolanus Snow. He lied to her and trust is the most important thing for Lucy Gray. Even though she loved him so much and was very thankful for everything that he did for her, trust was everything and if they didn't have trust, they didn't have anything at all. 

While she was running, she kept on wondering who the third person was that he killed, maybe he was the one responsible for Sejanus's death since he was the only one that he would trust to say such important things too. But that didn't matter anymore because soon she would be free from him. 

It was still raining so her footprints would wash away, so she would not leave a trace. Suddenly, she hears footsteps and she realizes that she will never get far enough before he can find her. And when finding the snake that she left, he will be very pissed and would probably try to kill her. She climbs into a tree and decides to hide there until Coriolanus is gone. 

Suddenly she heard him talk so he must be very close. 

"Has something happened? Cause if something happened we can talk about it," Coriolanus said.

Talk? Lucy Gray thought. She didn't want to talk to him, he had betrayed her trust so she just wanted to get away. She was very afraid that he would see her in the tree and would try to kill her. She just had to stay quiet until he was gone and then she could run. She saw him going towards his mother's scarf that was lying on the ground, she had placed a snake under it, it was not deadly so it wouldn't kill him but it would cause him to hallucinate a little bit. 

Coriolanus then took the scarf off the ground and the snake bit him. 

"Is that poisonous, are you trying to kill me?", "Lucy gray?", "LUCY GRAY, I SAID ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME!", "AFTER EVERYTHING THAT I HAVE DONE FOR YOU?"
Coriolanus screamed. 

Suddenly the Jabberjays in the sky why imitating her singing the hanging tree song and this made Coriolanus go crazy. He started shooting at the jabber jays in the sky. After he realized that he wouldn't be able to find her, he walked away, back to the lake, and dropped the weapons into it. He then took his stuff, pulled out his dad's compass, and walked back toward District 12. 

A few hours later, after hearing nothing for the past 3 hours, she got out of the tree and kept on walking until she saw a cottage. She decided to stay in the cottage for the night and continue her trip tomorrow. 

The next day, she woke up from hearing noises. Oh no, did Coriolanus send more people to the woods to try and find her and kill her? Lucy Gray thought by herself. The door of the cottage opened and 2 fishermen walked in, at least they looked like fishermen. They both were wearing plastic boots, one was carrying a bag full of fish and a spear and the other one was carrying a trident. 

"Oi what are you doing in our cottage, did you get lost?" The first fisherman said. Lucy Gray just stared at the two men and was terrified, but since they didn't know who she was, they probably weren't her to kill her. 

"I recognize her from somewhere, don't you Frank?" The second fisherman said

"You are right, Carlos I do, would you care to introduce yourself, girl?" Frank said. Lucy Gray then spoke, "My name is Lucy Gray Baird and I am the winner of the last Hunger Games. Late last night, I was running from my ex-mentor/boyfriend Coriolanus Snow, after he tried to kill me, I got tired and saw this cottage." "I am very sorry, for trespassing on your property."

"You are going to have to explain a bit more why he was trying to kill you, otherwise we can't help you. " Carlos said. So Lucy Gray did, she then told them how psychotic Coriolanus Snow is. 

"Waaw, that's quite some story, you would say it's coming straight out of a movie." Frank said. 

"You are currently in the woods of District 10, we are fishermen from District 4". "District 4 is our home, but sometimes we come to other districts to fish". Carlos said

"If you want to, you can come with us to District 4, we can provide you with shelter and food, cause we understand the fate you would have if someone from the capital is after you," Frank said. "My sister was killed by a capital man once because he was in love with her and she wasn't, so we know how crew people from the capital really are." Frank said. 

"However, if you want to be save from your capital man, you must change your name and appearance a bit so no one will ever find you." Carlos said. 

Lucy Gray was too stunned to speak. "Thank you so much, I will be forever in your depth." Lucy Gray said. 

Lucy Gray and the two fishermen, Frank and Carlos traveled back in their wagon to District 4. Back in District 4, the two men showed Lucy Gray around District 4 and brought her to an old house. 

"This house belonged to my sister," Frank said. "You can live here if you promise to help us out a bit on the docks each day." 

"Of course, I would love to help, thank you so much for everything Sir's" Lucy Gray said. 

"Please call us Frank and Carlos, you are going to see a lot of us." the two men said. 

"We will see you tomorrow, 9 am by the docks. Have a good night's rest first". Frank said

"Okay, I will see you tomorrow, Thanks again!" Lucy Gray said. 

Frank and Carlos simply smiled at her and left. 

The next day, Lucy Gray woke up, got dressed with some clothes she found in the closet of the house. Frank said that she could have them as they belonged to his sister and otherwise, they wouldn't be used. After getting dressed, She went to the docks where Frank and Carlos were waiting for her. 

"Ah there she is, our new employee Lucy Gray, or should we say Anna Rose as that is from now on your name." Carlos said. 

"Anna Rose, I like it, thanks." Lucy Gray said. 

That day, they taught her how to catch fish and pack them for shipment, as District four was the fishing district and provided fish to all the other districts. 

After a few hours of working, Lucy Gray saw a young women, who was about her age.

"Thats my Daughter, Lory, she is the same age as you" Frank said

"Hi my name is Lory, my dad told me all about you, we are going to be such great friends" Lory said

And what Lucy Gray didn't know back then, is that they would become best friends.

A few weeks later, Lucy Gray woke up feeling very sick. She got to the bathroom just in time before she puked.
She must have eaten something bad, maybe she ate too much fish last night or maybe her cooking wasn't as good as she thought. She had been cooking at Frank's house each night to show her gratitude to them for helping her. 

She got up and went to work, but only two hours later, she had to run to the bathroom once again. Carlos and Frank saw her running toward the bathroom and followed her to make sure that she was okay. 

"Sweetheart, are you okay," Carlos said
"How long has this been going on?" Frank said.

"It only started this morning, I must have eaten something bad." Lucy Gray said

Frank and Carlos looked at each other and Carlos said: Sweetheart, is there a possibility that you could be pregnant?"

Lucy Gray's face froze, could she be pregnant with Snow's Baby, with that Psychotic bastard's baby? It only happened 2 times and of course, with her odds, she would get pregnant.

"OMG, OMG, OMG, No this can't be happening." Lucy Gray panicked.

"Calm down sweetheart, we will do everything to help. After all, you have become like family to us." Frank said

Lucy Gray was, in fact, pregnant, and then 9 months later, Pam Rose was born.
