"Finnick, we have arrived in District 4," Katniss said as he knocked on the room door where Finnick was lying.

Finnick then came out of the room, his hair all weary, his eyes sleepy.

"Do you want me to come with you?" Katniss asked him.

"Could you? I don't want to be alone," Finnick sighed.

"Of course, not a problem," Katniss smiled at him before they both walked out of the hovercraft.

District Four was nearly not as bad as District Twelve. Everything was still intact for now. The Capitol probably didn't see District Four as much of a threat, as they did Twelve. They also still needed the fish supply from District Four. Most of the people were evacuated and were in District Thirteen but some people were still in District Four. Mainly the mayor and the people working for the mayor. They stayed there, to overlook everything in the District.

Katniss and Finnick walked towards the victor's village. When they arrived at Finnick and Lea's house, Finnick stood still for a second. He wanted to go inside but somehow couldn't get his legs to cooperate.

"I don't think you can do it," Finnick sighed.

"I will be with you either step of the way and we can leave at any time. If you don't go in, you will regret it," Katniss said.

"You are right," Finnick sighed before taking out his key and opening the door.

Everything looked just the same as they left it, right before the reaping of the Quarter Quell.

Looking around, brought back many memories. He thought about them making pancakes together in the kitchen, having a movie night on the couch, and having a romantic dinner on the living room table. He then went upstairs, to their bedroom and saw the heart necklace that he got her the day of his proposal. She had left it there, because she was only allowed to take one token with her in the arena, and she had chosen her engagement ring.

Finnick took the necklace from her nightstand and opened it, inside was a photo of them, during their first date on the beach. He immediately started tearing up when he saw it.

"How am I ever going to get over her?" Finnick sobbed.

Katniss immediately walked over to him and hugged him. She knew there wasn't anything she could say that could make him feel better. How do you even get over something like that? Losing the one person you wanted to spend the rest of your life with? In the case of Lea and Finnick, it was even worse, they had been best friends since they were little and hadn't spent a minute apart ever since they got together. They were the definition of soulmates.

"I am going to grab some more of her things and I will meet you downstairs," Finnick said.

"Are you going to be okay by yourself?" Katniss asked him.

"I'll be alright, thanks," Finnick said with a soft smile on his face. He just wanted to be alone for a moment.

Being back in their room was harder than he thought it would be. He just took some things that reminded him of her, such as her necklace, a bracelet that he got her for their first anniversary, her perfume, and a handkerchief that smelled like her. Out of his wallet, he took the picture of her that he always used to carry with him. After he had grabbed all of the stuff, he went back downstairs and saw Katniss looking at the photos that were placed on top of the big cupboard in the living room. The cupboard contained photos of all their most happy moments.

There was the photo of them on the beach, which was also in the necklace, a photo that was taken when Finnick proposed to her, a photo from Finnick's 19th birthday party, the first birthday that they celebrated together again, a photo of them sitting in their pajamas at Christmas morning, another one that was taken in front of the fireworks last year during Newyears and lastly a photo from the first day of school, the day that they got to know each other when they were six years old. They had officially met, on one of the last days of the summer holiday but they only became friends when school had started. In the photo, they were standing on the pier together, with their arms interlinked.
