Teen Wolf: Alexis McCall

Restraint.

Alexis's POV

"If Jackson doesn't know what he's doing, then he probably doesn't know someone's controlling him." I say as I pace around my room on the phone to Stiles and Scott who are looking for Jackson. "Or he doesn't remember..." Scott says. "What if it's the same kind of thing that happened with Lydia when she took off from the hospital?" Stiles asks and I raise my eyebrows.

"A fugue state?" I ask. "He'd have to forget everything. The murder..." Scott says and I nod slightly. "Getting rid of the blood..." I trail off. "Yeah, he had to help with one thing though - the video. And someone else helped him forget that." Stiles says. "Whoever's controlling him." Scott says and I sigh. "He thinks he's still becoming a werewolf and that being with Lydia delayed the whole thing. Do we even try and convince him he's not?" I ask.

"If it helps us find out who's controlling him, then yeah..." Scott says. "Who's to say he'll even talk to us after what we did?" I ask. "It's us! He'll talk to us, right?" Scott says and I scoff. "Good luck with that." I say before hanging up.

I set my phone down and turn around, jumping when I see Isaac standing behind me. I look over at my open window and sigh. "I thought I shut that..." I mumble and Isaac shrugs. "You did. You just didn't lock it." He says and I look up at him. "Get out." I tell him and he raises his eyebrows. "So it's Jackson." He says.

"What?" I ask and he smirks. "I heard your conversation." He tells me. "You can't tell Derek." I say firmly. "Why not?" He asks and I give him a look. "You've been with him long enough. He's impulsive. He finds out about Jackson, the first thing he's going to do is kill him." I say and Isaac shrugs. "Is that really that bad? Jackson is a dick." He deadpans.

"Your dad used to beat the shit out of you. Would you still wish death on him?" I ask making him pause slightly before he clears his throat. "Didn't think you'd go that low." He says and I shrug. "Didn't think you'd go as low as trying to kill my best friend." I say and he sighs.

"That wasn't my idea. Derek-" he starts to say but I cut him off. "Derek is your alpha, I get that. But you're not his slave. You can say no, especially when it comes to murdering someone." I tell him and he shakes his head. "It's not that easy, Lexi." He says and I nod. "It is that easy, Isaac. He's your alpha but he doesn't control everything that you do." I say before furrowing my eyebrows.

"Why are you even here?" I ask him and he shrugs. "Maybe I wanted to see you." He says. "Seriously? After what you did, you want to pull that one on me? Get out." I say pushing him towards the window. "You act like I'm a horrible person." He chuckles making me groan. "You're not a horrible person, Isaac, just a dumbass. Now go." I say and he raises his hands in defence before climbing out of my window.

I go to shut it but he stops me making me look at him. "What would it take for you to tolerate me?" He asks. "Not do everything Derek tells you to." I say and he goes to say something but I shut the window, and lock it, giving him a smug smile before closing my curtains.

Morning light pours through the library windows as me and Allison step inside. Allison throws a glance at one of the wall cameras then walks into the book stacks out of its view. Unzipping her bag, I remove a tablet and place it between some books on the book shelf.

On the other side of the stack, Scott takes the tablet. With Stiles peering over his shoulder, he taps the screen to look over a page of the bestiary and the translation next to it. Allison opens a book trying to look inconspicuous as she whispers to while I grab a book that catches my eye.

"It's everything Lydia could translate...and trust me, she was very confused." Allison says making Scott look at us. "Yeah, what did you tell her?" He asks and me and Allison chuckle. "That we were part of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures." I say making Stiles looks up.
