Alexis's POV

The steel door of Derek's loft clangs open with a bang and Jennifer rushes in. Voice fake with panic, she calls out into the darkened loft. "Derek? Derek, where are you?"

"Right here." She spins around to see Derek step out of the shadows. "Thank god." She sighs in relief before rushing over, wrapping her arms around him. "Something happened at the recital, at the school, okay? I need to tell you before you hear it, before you hear it from any of them..." She tells him. "From who?" Derek asks.

"Scott, Stiles, Lexi. They're gonna tell you things- things you can't believe. You have to trust me, okay? You trust me." Jennifer pleads and Derek nods. "What is it?" He asks. "Promise you'll listen to me." Jennifer says. "I promise." Derek agrees.

She kisses him, pressing her lips to his desperately. But there's a hesitancy in Derek making her pull back to look him in the eyes, noticing the lack of reaction. "They're already here, aren't they?" She asks, stepping away from him as me, Stiles and Scott step out from behind the wall.

Jennifer backs away, clearly nervous but tries to play it off. "So, they told you it was me? That I'm the one taking people?" She asks. "We told him you're the one killing people." Scott corrects making her scoff. "Oh, that's right. Commuting human sacrifices? What, cutting their throats? Yeah, I probably do it on my lunch hour - that way, I can get back to teaching high school English the rest of the day. Makes perfect sense." Jennifer says.

"Where's my dad?" Stiles asks, eyes full of tears making me grab his hand as he glances at me, gripping my hand tightly as though it's an anchor to keep him from breaking down. "How should I know? Derek, tell me you don't believe this?" Jennifer asks looking back at Derek, who looks at Stiles broken look.

"Do you know what happened to Stiles' father?" Derek asks and she scoffs. "No!" She says. Her innocent act is crumbling more and more every second. "Derek, why don't you ask her why she just tried to kill my best friend and wants to sacrifice me?" I ask making Jennifer look at me as I glare at her.

"Lydia Martin? I don't know nothing about that. And why would I want to sacrifice you?" She asks as I smirk. "I never said it was Lydia." I say catching her out making her realise what she's done. Derek looks at her with a glare. "What do you know?" He asks making her look back at him. "I know that these kids, for whatever misguided reason, are filling your head with an absurd story- and one they can't prove, by the way." Jennifer argues.

"What if we can?" Scott asks stepping forward. Jennifer notices the jar he holds in his hand. "What is that?" She asks, sounding scared and he looks down, opening it. "My boss told me it's a poison and a cure. Which means you can use it. And it can be used against you." He explains.

With a flick of his arm, the powder flies out the vial, pluming into a cloud of dust. Jennifer raises her hands but in the cloud, her face changes to the Darach, slashed and shrieking in anger. So I was right, she is the Darach that me and Lydia saw in the fire at the motel. Derek flinches back as if he'd been hit.

Dust settling around her, Jennifer looks up with a mixture of rage and fear. She starts to back away, moving for an escape but Derek comes at her, wrapping his hand around her throat. "Derek, wait! Wait! You need me!" Jennifer yells. "What are you?" Derek asks.

"The only person who can save Cora! Call Peter...call him!" Jennifer says and Derek instantly pulls out his phone, keeping a hold on Jennifer. "It's not good. She's in and out of consciousness, she's vomiting up black blood, along with other alarming substance..." Peter says.

"Mistletoe." Derek says glaring at Jennifer. "How did you know that?" Peter asks but Derek doesn't answer as he just hangs up and his grip tightens around Jennifer's throat making her let out gasps of pain. "Derek...Derek what are you doing?"
