It was late and Erin really wanted to see her sister, but Sam wasn't home yet and she could use this time to relax a little and then go home and hug her sister.

After she agrees and gets a smile from Jay, they go up to her team's bullpen. Lindsay talks to her team and thanks them. It was her first action as SSA leader and everything went well, it was a good first day on the job. This was what she lived for, she knew she was good at it, she liked helping others and she was happy that Jay gave her a chance. Her team applauds her and she asks them to stop and thanks them once again, it was teamwork and they were all very good.

Everyone then needs to sort out their paperwork. Lindsay goes to her office to sort out her report and Jay goes to his, sort out the things she left open to keep up with her team.

After a while, her agents deliver their reports and invite her for a drink, they were all three, they insisted that she accept because it was the first case outside and they wanted to celebrate the success. Lindsay remembers Jay's invitation, it would be just the two of them and she wanted that, but she didn't know how to refuse her team, unless she lied.

- I have a lot of work here, but give me the address that I may pass by later. - she says and that was a good plan. With the team as an excuse, she and Jay couldn't spend too long talking and taking risks.

As his son was sick, Jay called just to confirm if everything was okay and like Lindsay, he would use his children's excuse if the atmosphere became too intimate between them. He didn't want to delay, but he didn't want to stop going with Lindsay and being a support for a case that he knew got too close for her. It was just a drink.

- Hi Aydan, how are things there? -

- Better, Jesse ate well and was even more willing to play. Now they are watching TV. - the woman says and Jay breathes a sigh of relief, he would feel less guilty knowing that his son was feeling a little better.

- That's excellent. I might be a little late today, I have some paperwork and...

- You know I have no problem with that. - the woman interrupts. - Have fun. -She looked like a mother when she knows what her son is going to do, but also the fact that Jay didn't even know how to create a convincing lie, the woman knew that Jay never stayed late with paperwork. If it was something urgent he would take it home and finish it after they were both asleep. However, he didn't care, he was going out with Erin, that mattered.

He finds Lindsay getting ready to leave in her office. He knocks on the door softly and enters when she calls him.

- Hi... I was already coming to you. - She takes a folder from her desk, thick and full of documents. - We all finished the paperwork. -she explains while handing it to him.

- Ok, have your agents finished all the paperwork? On a Friday night? - He says impressed.

- Let's say tomorrow is Saturday and they can arrive a little later. - She explains.

- A good boss. - he smiled. - Does this apply to you too? - he asks.

She looks into his eyes, she was going to tell him about the team's invitation and that she was thinking about it, but she knows he was going to tell her to go and she wasn't in the mood at all to say that the only place she wanted to go was , that's where he would take her, but she would let him know indirectly.

- That depends. - She smiles softly, leaving him in doubt whether or not that was flirting, but with that smile? With those sparkling eyes? He confirmed yes. And both were entering unknown territory, but neither was braking.
