There was exactly one week left until Toto Wolff's event he was holding. And Daniel and Arthur had convinced her to take a few days off. She had been preparing for it non-stop and hadn't taken any time for herself.
It was nearly 1am and Riley had convinced a couple people to come over to Arthur's place to stay up and watch the super bowl. Riley really only wanted to watch the halftime show, with it being Usher she was on the train the believed Justin Bieber was going to make an appearance.
She was curled up in Arthur's arms watching the screen as the game went on, ignoring the small kisses her would randomly place on her neck.
"There's Taylor!" Riley shot up, pointing at that screen, laughing when she realized her sudden movement startled Arthur. "I hope we get a song out of this" Riley said, settling back into his arms.
"For who?" Daniel asked walking out of the kitchen with a beer in his hand.
"Travis Kelce" Arthur sighed, having heard Riley go on about it all day long.
"Didn't she make one already?" Daniel asked, sitting down on the opposite end of the couch. "It's like, 'You can call me Mrs Taylor Purdy?'"
"Dan that was Ai" Riley laughed, "It's a banger honestly though" She said, turning her attention back to the screen.
There was a load of chatter coming from the kitchen. Lando managed to come over, and he tagged along with Charles, Alex, Max and Kelsey. She wasn't invited personally by Riley, but that didn't stop her from turning up. They just couldn't talk to each other. They ripped each other apart any and every time they were alone. Kelsey knew that Max still had eyes for Riley, and it infuriated her. But it pissed Riley off when Kelsey would mention how fast Max moved on from her.
Arthur had a couple of his personal friends from Jimmy'z a few weeks ago over that Riley didn't like at all. They were rude, reminded her of frat boys back home, and always filtered Riley out of conversation when she was around. She stopped trying to involve herself with them. Hence why she was sitting down, pulled up on Arthur's lap with his arms around her watching the game go on.
"Justin Bieber has to come out" Riley told Arthur, putting her arm over his shoulder to get more comfortable. The halftime show was just about to start. The program was currently on commercial break until then. "You don't understand the lore behind this"
"I don't think he's going to come out" Arthur told her.
"He's at the game right now though" Riley explained, looking him in the eyes. "He has to perform 'Somebody To Love'" She told him, pecking his lips once when he leaned in.
"Riles how much do you want to bet Bieber doesn't come out" Lando said walking into the room after Riley and Arthur broke apart.
"How much is on the table?"
"50 Euros"
"Done deal" Riley said, reaching her hand out for him to shake, "If he comes out i'm gonna be rich!" Riley exclaimed shaking Lando's hand.
"He's not coming out" Lando told her, sitting down on a cushioned chair in the room.
"Shush" Riley said as the halftime show started. "Oh he's so fine" She whispered, feeling Arthur squeeze her side gently when she said that. "Sorry" She laughed.
"Guest star number 1!" Daniel pointed at the screen when Alecia Keys showed up.
"Is that Alicia Keys?" Kelsey asked walking into the room.
"Doesn't look like anyone else" Riley mumbled, keeping her eyes glued to the screen.
Riley sat up more as the show went on, sliding off of Arthur when more people walked into the room. He put one arm around her shoulder when he felt her lean into his side
