Riley was sitting in her bedroom alone, writing in a completely new journal tiredly. She started documenting her life, starting fresh after what happened with Arthur. There was only 2 pages taken up, and the most of it was about the past 3 days. She got so sick at the tracks today that she had to hide away in Logan's garage. Tomorrow was her last day in Miami. She felt like the entire trip flew by. And so many things happened. Mike had an affair, Riley saw Jonah's family, her and Max got back together, finally.

Riley was feeling better now, which was good. The side effects were only supposed to last four hours. Hers stretched out all day long. But at least she wasn't pregnant. Riley looked up from her book when Sloan walked into her room quickly. She wanted to know everything that happened between her and Max. They didn't get to talk about it much yet.

"Hey girl" Riley said closing her book. She sat up a little, making room on the bed for Sloan when she sat down.

"I need the tea" Sloan said quietly. It was nearly midnight, Riley's room was completely dark minus the moonlight that was shining through her window.

"What's the topic?" Riley asked her, putting her journal on the nightstand, not noticing when Max texted her 20 minutes ago. Max was letting her know he was coming to pick her up, and now, he was right around the corner about to turn onto her street.

"You and Max" Sloan said, "How did it happen"

"Oh," Riley said, sitting up excitedly. "So, I was having dinner with Jonah's family an-"

"Odd start to the story but continue" Sloan cut her off.

"He came to pick me up, came inside for a drink and signed a few things for Richard" Riley explained to her. "And then we drove to the beach to talk"

"Did you?" Sloan asked, bringing confusion to her eyes.

"Did we what?"

"Talk"

"Yes oh god" Riley laughed, not realizing that Max had just pulled up outside her house. He had his headlights off. "I just told him that me and Arthur are doing PR. The events and stuff I have to show up for, how long we had to wait until we could stop sneaking around if we got together"

"So you guys didn't even get together then?" Sloan asked her, swearing she heard a pebble hit Riley's window. But she ignored it.

"No" Riley shook her head with a smile, "But I was asking him if he wanted to wait longer and he practically said that we could get together then and he would be fine with it"

"Okay..."

"And he said that I already know his intentions..." Riley started, feeling a smile stuck on her face.

"Which is?"

"Marriage was always his end goal" Riley said quietly, looking to her window when she heard a rock against it. "What the fuck"

"I knew I heard something!" Sloan exclaimed.

"Wait a second" Riley said, holding Sloan's arm before she opened the window. "I didn't get to finish the story"

"I don't care I'm about to see one unfold before my eyes"

Riley sighed, crawling across her bed to the window, seeing Max stood outside looking towards the street. Riley slid it open, looking down at Max with a smile across her face.

"It's a bit late isn't it?" Riley asked, getting his attention.

"Yeah but I've only seen you once today" Max said loudly, trying to make sure she could hear him from the ground.
