Riley and Max flew in to Miami late Friday night. They were staying at Samantha's house rather than renting out an air bnb or staying in a hotel room. But it was odd. Riley offered to share her room with Max, but neither of them could get comfortable given how small her bed was. They've made it work before only because one had slept on top of the other. Max didn't want to put his weight down on Riley and she couldn't find a comfortable position halfway over him. So he took the guest room.

Samantha and Ava were asleep when Max and Riley had arrived. Which Riley was grateful for, she didn't want to stay up another hour socializing with Ava. Nor did she want to share a bed with her and risk getting kicked in the middle of the night. Ava would had all day Saturday and Sunday to talk to her.

"Are we going to JC's?" Max asked in the morning. Max came into Riley room after they had both woken up.  Riley had called his phone to check, only for it to get answered immediately. "To check in on anything" He ran his hand over Riley's stomach while she sat between his legs with her back against his chest. "Or just to work"

"I was thinking we could stop by to see Tristen" She mumbled, squirming slightly when Max put his second hand on her stomach that was shockingly cold.

"Ok." Max said, not commenting on the matter any further.

"And then I just want to hang around home until the wedding" She told him, putting her hand over Max's left. "I want to see the least amount of people possible to avoid questions about the trial and Noah- and everything else"

"Our flight leaves tomorrow night directly after the wedding" Max told her, losing hold of Riley after she heard Ava's footsteps from a few rooms down. Riley fixed her shirt, covering her stomach while facing Max across from him.

"And then you're mine for a whole week" Riley said with a soft laugh, squealing quietly when Max leaned in quickly and kissed her. Riley pushed into it, holding Max's jaw carefully while she sat up on her knees. "That's all," She pecked his lips one more time, "That's all"

"Are you telling me or yourself" Max smiled, feeling Riley's lips on his once more.

"Myself" She said, peppering kisses on his cheek before putting space between the two of them. "What are you wearing to the rehearsal dinner tonight"

"I didn't realize we were going" Max moved away from her, back to the head of her bed. "You said you packed my suit for tomorrow right?"

"Yes" She nodded, "But that's it- I didn't think about the rehearsal dinner"

"Then let's skip it" He shrugged, "I don't really want to go"

"Oh"

"Is that alright?"

"No yeah," Riley said with lightly furrowed brows, "We can skip it I guess"

"Good" Max collapsed on the bed, "I need time to unwind before a 12 hour flight to Monaco"

"You are such a diva" Riley said, grabbing the blankets she pushed off the bed in the middle of the night while sleeping. She moved on her knees, inching closer to Max with the blankets in hand before placing them on top of him. "Tuck yourself in and get some beauty sleep"

Max sat back up after hearing a faint knock on the door. Light whispers followed behind. Ava didn't want Samantha waiting behind her when Riley opened the door. She wanted all of the hugs, and all of the kisses. If Samantha was behind her Riley's attention would have been split.

"Stay." Ava patted Samantha's leg while she knocked on the door quietly again. "Riley" Ava said quietly, "Are you awake?"

Riley got up from bed quietly, tiptoeing across the room, careful to not step on any boards that creaked. She heard Ava ask for her again, followed by whispers from Samantha who thought Riley wasn't up yet. Riley opened the door quickly and scooped Ava up in her arms, taking her into the room that was now being filled with laughter and loud giggles.
