Arthur was starting to feel too tied down to Riley again. He completely forgot about the dinner he was supposed to be having with Daniel, Riley and Lando. Riley reminded him earlier that morning, asking him if he wanted to ride over with her or just meet them there.

Arthur didn't respond.

It slipped his mind, he read the text and called Luca over to hangout. And he had brought friends, friends Arthur had found rather attractive. Nothing major happened between him and a girl Luca had brought over. They shared a couple kisses and an illicit make out session. But it didn't go further than that. Well, until Luca left.

Arthur was in his room, laying down with a girl whose name he couldn't remember under him, still fully clothed. Arthur had his shirt off, placing sloppy kisses alongside the strangers neck, listening to every small moan she let escape her lips. Until a phone rang. Arthur thought it was hers for a moment and ignored it, continuing to suck on her neck whilst his hands started trailing up her shirt. He groaned quietly when her body rolled against his, ready for more than just a simple kiss.

"Your phone is going off" The woman said, feeling Arthur's lips start heading for her chest.

"Just ignore it" He mumbled, getting a whiff of perfume she was wearing. It smelled like cherries.

Cherries.

Arthur shot up from the girl, instantly thinking of Riley and remembering the dinner he was supposed to leave for nearly an hour ago. Arthur looked over to the ringing phone, ignoring the confusion that was radiating off the girl in his bed. He saw Riley's contact flashing across his screen as he stood up, looking at the girl momentarily.

"You have to leave," Arthur told her, "I have plans tonight already"

"I didn't realize you were with someone" The girl said, getting out of his bed quickly, muttering different words quietly. "Fucking asshole" She mumbled, rushing out of his room when Arthur answered his phone.

~~~
"Hey Baby" Is what Riley heard on the other line when Arthur had finally answered his phone for the first time all day. And it scared her. She was standing outside the restaurant that Daniel was already being seated at. He was with someone he had just started seeing called Heidi, and Max in replacement of Lando who decided he couldn't make it. Or, that's at least what Riley thought happened.
When Daniel started thinking Arthur wasn't coming he got Lando to stay home and called Max quickly. Lando didn't have problems with it at all, he knew Max was close to getting Riley back. If him giving up dinner for one night would help, he could have his seat.
"Where are you?" Riley asked him worriedly. She thought something may have happened and that's why he didn't respond to her texts today.
"I'm on my way right now," He lied, rushing around his room for a change of clothes appropriate for dinner and his car keys.
"You're late" She told him sadly, looking inside the restaurants windows when she felt people's eyes on her.
"Riley I will be there soon," He told her, "I promise"
"Drive safely," She told him, not wanting him to speed. She thought he was in the car already, it took her nearly an hour to get there. If he wasn't in the car now he wasn't going to show up in time. "I love you" She said softly, feeling relieved that he was fine but it twisted her heart knowing he just didn't respond to her at all.
