Riley forgot to call Susan back the next day. She was standing in the bathroom at Max's apartment when she remembered. She was going to make an attempt on calling her after she was done throwing away an empty box of tampons. Max was standing next to her, gelling up his hair no matter how many times Riley told him he didn't need it.

"You're putting too much in" She told him, grabbing the gel from the counter and putting the cap on, "It doesn't need to be slicked down"

"I would like it to stay in one place" Max told Riley, running his fingers through his hair.

"It looks good messy" She looked at him through the mirror, "And long"

"I never have it long"

"Because you always cut it before it grows out!" She sighed, sliding her arm around his back. She kept looking at him through the mirror, pulling herself closer to him. "You should just let it go"

"I'll consider" He said, finally putting his arms over Riley like she had been waiting.

"Grow it over the off season" She said over her laugh when Max attacked her with kisses, "If you don't like it cut it, I just want to see it long once"

"If I don't like it I'm shaving my head" He heard Riley gasp and look up at him, "I'll be bald"

"Max if you do that-" Riley didn't know what to say, "I mean I won't do anything, but just don't" She laughed, "You might actually look like Sid the sloth at that point"

"I-"

"I have to call Susan" Riley said before Max responded, she grabbed her phone, keeping one arm around Max's back so he wouldn't move away from her.

"I told you to answer her call the other night" He said while the phone rang, Riley rolled her eyes and put the phone up the her ear, waiting for Susan's voice to sound.

"I told you to answer her call the oth- Hi Susan!" Riley's attempt at mocking Max was put on pause.

"Are you busy today?"

"Am I busy?" She repeated the question back, looking at Max confusedly, "Not right now"

"I'm picking you up by boat in like 20 minutes," She said, "Send me your address"

"Susan I'm in Monaco right now..?" Riley said, putting her hand on Max's shoulder when she stepped away from him.

"I know" She said with a smile on the other line in a car with Oliver, "So am I"

"No you are not!" Riley exclaimed excitedly, "Susan's here" She told Max with a bright smile, "Um, there's a port right around the corner from Max's apartment, we'll just meet you there"

"Wait-" Oliver said beside Susan, muting the phone call for a moment, "Are you going to tell her?"

"Give me a second" Susan said, slightly nervous Riley wouldn't be able to come once she broke the news, "I was just going to surprise her"

"Max can't come though" He told her, "It'll start problems"

"I know" She sighed, unmuting themselves when Riley said her name, "So Rye," Susan looked at Oliver, "Arthur's coming too,"

"Oh," Riley said with a scrunched nose, "Why would you want that"

"Well see, I'm visiting Oliver right now," She told her, "And he wanted to see Arthur but I didn't want to be alone and I don't know anyone else here and I really want to see you and I leave tomorrow" She was practically guilting Riley into agreeing to show up. "If you don't want to come that's okay, I'll just see you the next time you're in Florida"
