Riley was outside putting Ava's car seat in Max's rental while he was inside his hotel room getting ready to leave. Ava was holding her baby blanket while she stood behind Riley waiting to get in. Riley had told Ava ahead of time that if anyone called their names to not look their direction. She kept looking at Gustav curiously, Ava noticed it when he followed them out of the hotel lobby into the parking lot. But he didn't say a word to them, that's what weirded Ava out.

"Okay you're good to go" Riley stepped to the side, "If you think it doesn't feel right tell me"

"It's fine" Ava said, climbing into the car, "Close the door"

"Yes ma'am" Riley listened, picking up the corner of her blanket and putting it in the car before the door closed.

Ava swung her legs patiently as she watched Riley walk to the other side of the car. Riley had told Max to wait a few extra minutes inside before coming out so she could talk to Ava. Not that she believed Ava would have a bad reaction to Riley being engaged, but she wanted it to be a one on one conversation.

Riley left the car door open a crack behind her instead of turning the car on. Ava sat there quietly, looking outside happily knowing Riley was only a foot away from her rather than across the world.

"Hey Ava" Riley turned around to face her, seeing a bright smile beaming back when she looked at her. "Do you remember when Joshua proposed to Misty last year?"

"No" She shook her head, "They get married on Christmas"

"Near Christmas" Riley corrected her, "But Josh, he proposed to Misty right, asking if she wanted to marry him"

"Yes, I know" Ava said, tilting her head at Riley and sticking her tongue out. "Mom signed me up for ballet classes"

"That's really cool Ava- but like I was saying" She paused when Ava groaned, uninterested in the conversation topic. "So Max asked me to marry him"

"He did?" Ava gasped with wide eyes and a smile, "When"

"Just a couple weeks ago" Riley said, sliding her ring off to show Ava. "He got down on one knee with this in a box" She handed Ava the ring carefully, "And asked me if I wanted to marry him"

"Okay" Ava said contently and placed the ring back in Riley's hand after she tried it on for herself.

"You like Max right?" Riley asked her, putting the ring back on, she watched as Ava nodded quickly, looking back out the window.

"Does this mean Max is moving to Miami?"

"Ummm?" Riley looked at Ava confusedly, "No me and Max just bought a house together in Monaco"

"When are you coming back then" Ava asked Riley with furrowed brows.

"I'll visit on Christmas's hopefully" She said softly, "But we have to stay in Europe, Max has work there"

"Oh" Ava scrunched her nose, "Okay."

"Mkay" Riley turned back around in her seat, resting her chin in the palm of her hand that was propped up along the arm rest. "What do you think about me having a baby"

"No!" Ava said as if it would be the end of the world. "I don't like that."

"Why not" Riley asked her sadly, turning back around to see her. "Like William and Griffin- but maybe a little girl"

"You don't need one" She said, pulling her blanket over her, "Now hush"

"Well Ava, I'm actually alre-"

"LA- LA- LA- LA-" Ava covered her ears and Riley dropped the topic.

"Okay.." She said uneasily, looking out her window as Max walked out of the hotel with her brothers and Jade following behind along side Tristen, Joshua and Misty.
