Riley tried staying off social media the most of the next day. But she grew curious, just wanting to see what was floating around. And to no surprise it had reached twitter. There was a video, one singular video that had surfaced on the internet. It was 10 seconds long, you couldn't hear a word that was being said over the chatter coming from everyone around the device. It was a video of Riley walking to the car with Lando.

"Fine" Riley said, "Take your fucking break" She turned on her heel and started walking down the long driveway, seeing Lando's car parked far down the street.

"I guess we're leaving now" Lando mumbled to himself, walking behind Riley.

"Just for a little bit!" Arthur said loudly, following her quickly, but Lando put a hand on his chest, pushing him away from Riley while shaking his head. "Riley come on"

"Arthur it's over" Riley told him, turning around, "I'll pick my shit up soon, I'm not doing this with you anymore"

Riley looked at all of the comments, seeing how many times it got reposted as well. Everyone was making up their own theories about what had happened. She checked instagram, wanting to know if any big gossip pages had hold of the video already. They did.

She didn't check gossip pages often. She only ever saw them if they popped up on her homepage, and it was always only if it related to something with Arthur. Her entire feed was always something about him, and it made sense, they were dating. Instagrams algorithm didn't understand the difference between a fan and her just liking her boyfriend's post.

Ex-boyfriends post.

Riley read through the comments.

'I heard he cheated on her'

'Nooo, they were my favorite couple'

'Didn't she cheat on Liam with him'

'It's about time'

'Apparently he hooked up with her friend at the party. People said she was sobbing'

'She looks so upset'

Riley hated the speculations, as she read on, she saw more people saying that she was overreacting. She wasn't. She had a completely reasonable reaction to seeing someone you love, doing something that was reserved for each other with someone else. It was at this moment Riley decided to do what Arthur had brought up the night before.

It was for herself, not him. Riley didn't want people speculating, and turning her into the bad guy when she wasn't. This here, another scandal could ruin her reputation before she even had one. Riley searched her phone for Arthur's contact. She was sitting in her kitchen, entirely alone, Daniel was at the gym with Max. And she called Arthur. The phone didn't ring for long, she heard Arthur's voice over the speakers nearly immediately.

"Is Lorenzo free for lunch?" Riley asked him, "I'll talk to him about the PR stuff if he is"

"Yeah he is," Arthur told her quickly, "I'll let him know you want to talk to him"

"Okay," Riley nodded, sighing quietly. "I'll be at La Note Bleue in an hour"

"He'll meet you there" Arthur said, knowing that he was going to tag along. But he didn't tell Riley, he didn't want to risk her not showing up. And now that he didn't have her, he wanted to see her. "Did you need a ride?"

"No I'll be fine"

"Are you sure?" He asked her.

"Yes I'm sure" She said, "I know were it is, I go to the beach there all the time"
