Riley was walking out of the airport with Max after a long wait they had shared together in customs. They were supposed to meet their second security guard at the airport before leaving. Max and Riley didn't say anything aloud to each-other, but they both already found it concerning that they weren't at the airport on time. After a few minutes Riley started walking towards Gustav's SUV with Max, which she would've felt safer in anyways.

"Why don't we just meet him at the hotel" Max suggested, taking Riley's two suitcases from her to put in the trunk. "It gives us time to get the rental"

"I just find it odd how he literally had one job and he's late already" Riley said, passing Max his bag next. "Right?"

"Maybe we landed early" Max gave him the benefit of the doubt, looking at Riley who didn't seem so convinced.

Riley was about to get in the back seat of Gustav's car before he pointed out that their other security guard pulled up behind them. She sighed and stood next to Max on the side walk, locking her pinky with his discreetly instead of holding his entire hand.

They watched as a man, bald, no shorter than 6'4 got out of a blacked car identical to Gustav's with sunglasses on. Riley let go of Max's hand to shake the securities, she introduced herself, attempting to be polite.

"Donatello" He told Max his name, which he was already informed on.

"Oh! I almost named our cat that" Riley said, "But his names Toby.." She went quiet after realizing she may have overshared.

"So the plan right now is taking a trip to pick up my rental" Max cut straight to the point, "Then we're going to stay at the hotel for the rest of the night most likely"

"Gustav gave me the run down already" Donatello told Max, "Who's riding with who?"

"I'm with Gustav" Riley pointed to his car, she'd rather not ride with someone she didn't know or trust yet, when she knew Gustav and trusted him with her life.

"Then I'm with you" Max said to him, not necessarily wanting to split up.

"We'll meet you at the dealer"

"What do you think about him?"

Riley sat in Gustav's car while Max was filling out paperwork. She glanced over to Donatello's car that was parked across the parking lot from her, trying to read him. Gustav was sharing a hotel room with him in Vegas, he flew out a day prior than Max and Riley to meet Donatello ahead of time, he already had half an opinion formed.

"He is very closed off" Gustav told her, "But not in the same way I am, you won't crack him"

"Was it not odd that he was late?" Riley asked him, "I mean, we told you guys both when we landed, it took us an hour to go through customs... how long were you waiting?"

"I was outside before you both landed" He said, looking over his shoulder when Riley leaned against the armrest.

"Hmm.." Riley said, watching Max walk outside with keys in his hands. "I'd rather him not know I'm pregnant" She told him, "Just because he's only here for the last few races and we don't know him"

"Understood"

"I'll see you tomorrow Gustav" She said, making way for her exit.

Riley rushed over to Max's car that he had already gotten inside of. Riley pulled the door open, stepping back as it flew upwards instead of out. She looked at it for a moment while she stepped inside, sitting down and feeling Max's hand immediately find her thigh.
