Riley was sitting at dinner across from Jennifer, Mike, and some guy who was almost the exact same age as Riley. Riley's birthday was June 12th, his was June 2nd. One of Jennifer's sons. Having 4 new siblings wasn't on Riley's checklist for coming back home. 2 of Jennifer's sons couldn't make it to the meal, they just didn't want to come. They ranged in age from 18 to 25. Nathan was 18, Holden was about to turn 23 just the same as Riley, and Levi was 25. Riley didn't want to add on to her family. She didn't want Jennifer waltzing in trying to parent Sloan and Ava just the same as her mom. Riley didn't want to get to know other people who were going to take her label as oldest sibling.

Riley didn't like this one bit. Sloan didn't mind, she didn't like what her Dad did. But she was more open than Riley. All of this was going straight over Ava's head. Riley was checked out of the conversation for the most part, texting Max back, making plans with him for tonight. A lot of drivers were going to Club Eleven to celebrate Lando's win. Riley wasn't going to miss it.

"Riley can you put your phone down" Mike asked her, he thought it was rude.

"One second" Riley said, finishing her message and sending it through. Riley was grabbing her bags from her house before going out and leaving them in Max's room. It would be faster for the morning that way, just go straight to the airport without having to pick her up. Daniel would never know because Max always planned on picking her up.

"Who are you texting"

"Max" Sloan mumbled to herself.

"Who?" Jennifer asked intrigued. Riley shot Sloan a glare.

"I was just making plans with a friend" Riley avoided the question, setting her phone down face up. Only for it to go off again quickly. Riley glanced at it, picking it back up.

"For tonight?" Mike asked with furrowed brows.

"If you must know yes" Riley nodded, "We're just celebrating Lando's win"

"I don't like that Lando won" Ava whispered with a frown, shaking her head that still held Max's hat. She refused to take it off.

"You should take Holden with you!" Jennifer said excitedly, "You two could get to know each other more"

"I don't thi-" Riley got cut off when Mike kicked her under the table. "That's fine" She sighed. Riley wanted to hang around Max tonight, everyone around them would've been too drunk to realize they were together.

"I don't know what do you think Holden? You could bring Levi and Nate too" Jennifer asked him. Holden was disinterested in Riley, he thought she was the stuck up influencer type. But she was the exact opposite. Riley barely surrounded herself with influencers herself. She saw Kika every now and then. But other than her, and Magui who Riley hated, it was just her and Nicolas.

"Where is it?" Holden asked Riley, he was going if his Mom wanted him to. But he was ditching Riley the second they walked through the doors.

"Club Eleven" Riley put her phone down for the final time.

"I'll drive"

"Perfect you'll meet me there" Riley said with false excitement.

"Where did you get that hat" Jennifer asked Ava, they were sitting next to each other across from Riley. Jennifer could smell the champagne coming off of it. "It's stinky."

"Maxie gave it to me" Ava gasped, forgetting to tell everyone, "He threw it off the podium to me!"

Everyone looked at Riley for the story.

"He saw us in the crowd and threw it down for her" Riley explained, she was glancing over at Jennifer, trying to make sure she wasn't about to take the hat from her. "She wants him to sign it but I told her it's fine because we know him" She almost laughed. "We don't need Maxie to sign right Ava?"
