Christian was being very stern with Max this weekend. He didn't want to hear anything about a physical fight. He didn't want to hear late news of a car accident that caused a concussion. He didn't want Max to miss another media day. He was tired of the unprofessionalism that showed up coincidentally when him and Riley started dating again. Riley unknowingly found herself on someone's bad side. And it just happened to be her boyfriend's boss.

"Listen," Max said to Christian, "You can't sue this Noah guy," He was trying to clear up the mess he started making last weekend. He gave a name out of frustration, and that was the one thing Riley didn't want him to do, "It was an accident, he's already paying for the car. I'm fine let's let it go"

"Max I don't think you understand the Championship is at stake" Christian told him, "We are suing, you don't have to be apart of it"

"Christian," Max was worried, he knew what Noah said to Riley, and he didn't want to be the reason anything about Riley's involvement with Noah got out. "You need to drop it"

"I don't."

"If you go through with it I'm done driving" He threatened, and he meant that entirely. "I'll find another team, anyone will take me"

"I think you're making a mistake" Christian said, entirely shocked by Max's proposal.

"I will leave." Max repeated, "I'll drive for Mercedes, they have an open seat next year I've heard" He walked to the door of his drivers room, opening it for Christian, "I'll let you think about that"

"I don't know why you're so against this" He shook his head, walking out of the room. If Max didn't want to be apart of the lawsuit that was one thing, so Christian just needed to find a way to leave him out of it.

Riley had avoided that room all weekend. She was standing in the garage, scrolling on her phone irritated as she got tagged in a million different photos of her walking around the paddocks. She was always in a private area, she was more irritated at herself for not noticing them as they were being taken.

Riley didn't jump when she felt a pinch at the top of her ear. She knew it was from Max, it turned into a hidden form of affection they used with each other.

"Good luck" She said whilst he was sliding past her between a few people. "Drive safely"

"I will" He slid his hand on and off her side, "I'll see you in a few hours"

"Leave your emotions out of the race" She said before he walked away, "I don't want to see an accident"

"You won't" He reassured her, "I'll finish this race then we'll catch our flight to Monaco with Daniel in the morning"

"Will I be staying with you tomorrow?"

"That's the plan"

Riley didn't know all of the car's technicality's. She knew the basics of formula one, the cars weight limit, the DRS system, rules and regulations. But the way the cars were assembled was out of her expertise. But she could tell that Red Bull's car wasn't assembled as well as it was the past three years.

Max had been in P3 for a large chunk of the race, and Riley was almost surprised when he made his pass by Lando smoothly. It was relieving that there wasn't a crash. Riley kept noticing the odd glances Christian would throw her, but she chose to believe they were towards someone else. It wasn't until Max crossed the finish line that she realized they were in fact glares towards her. Christian walked up to her, wanting to have a word before she tried to walk out for the podium. Because right now, Christian didn't want her to tag along.
