There was a loud whistle, and Diana covered her ears to lessen the blow. She looked up at the steaming train infront of her- it was absolutely beautiful. It glistened like it was brand new, shiny and red. She looked around the station, just as fascinated as she was at Diagon Alley. She had never been inside the train station when she lived in London- no where to travel when you haven't got any family. And now she had just come through a brick wall to find this magical place. She was in awe at the spectacle of it.

Last year she had walked up from the forest with Fig after escaping a battle with Ranrok. This year she normally would have just met the rest of the students at Hogsmeade station since they were living so near there anyway. Circumstances were a little different this time though. Natty was a prefect and she needed to help keep order on the train ride to the school, and Diana had asked if she could come with her. Sebastian had decided to stay in Feldcroft, and promised to meet them at their destination.

The Onais and Diana had stayed the night in London, and set off early the next day so Natty could help first years make it onto the train. Professor Onai left them, choosing rather to apparate back home, and travel to Hogwarts from there. Which left Diana now, alone, looking up at the wonderful machine infront of her.

She wandered around the station for a bit, watching as younger students said tearful goodbyes to families, and older ones racing to get aboard. There were animals of all types in cages, and an endless sea of luggage trolleys. She sat down on a bench, thinking about all her animals waiting back at the school, when someone took the seat next to her and made her jump.

"This seat taken?" the blond boy asked with a smile.

"Ominis! When did you get here?" Diana felt giddy seeing her friend again. But she paused for a moment, now feeling nervous and looked around.

"Don't worry, my family isn't with me. They had our house elf drop me off because they had more important things that they needed to do with their time today."

"Oh good, that's a relief. Well I'm glad you found me. And I'm glad my letter got to you before you left so we could meet up."

"Yes I did get your last letter, but actually I followed the smell of oranges."

"Really!?" she asked excitedly.

Ominous chuckled "Well I knew you were going to be here, so I specifically went looking for the smell. I almost passed you, but I caught the scent right before I went by."

Diana smiled, feeling relaxed. She then turned to face him. He looked like he had grown taller, she hadn't noticed when she was with him last week. His face had also grown older, he had less fat in his cheeks and his jawline was more chiseled. His eyes were still a bright hazy blue, and they were beautiful. Ominis as a whole was a very handsome person, she had noticed the first time she had met him- and also heard many other girls go on about it as well.

"What are you looking at with such attention?" he asked, tilting his head in question.

Diana felt flustered, just now realizing what exactly she had been doing. Her face started growing warm again.

"Um yes sorry, I was just noticing how much you have changed over the summer."

"Oh, is it much?"

"Your face is a little slimmer, and you've gotten taller." She replied sheepishly.

"Hm that makes sense, I had to get fitted for a whole new set of school robes since apparently mine looked appallingly too short- according to my mother."

She chuckled at his comment, letting her embarrassment drift away. She was so happy to be back with him, writing letters back and forth through the summer just didn't feel the same as this.

"I missed you." She tried to be brave and share her feelings boldly, but they still came out in a whisper. At least they didn't embarrass her, that was definitely still an improvement.

"I missed you too," he smiled back at her. "Now let's go find an empty compartment so I don't have to be stuck listening to Leader Prewitt drown on about his annual summer abroad."
