The three friends stood a little way off, watching the crowd head into the castle. Ominis decided to ask if they could wait for the crowd to head in before heading up. This way he could avoid being jostled around, and didn't cause Diana any more grief.
"Oh! Ominis I almost forgot I had something I wanted to talk to you about." She said, drawing his attention away from the noise of the crowd.
"What? Did you guys not have enough time to talk on that train ride?" Sebastian countered.
"Well when Poppy came in, I got distracted, and by the time that she left to be with Lucan, he had already fallen asleep."
"Oh, Poppy and Lucan?" Sebastian sounded intrigued. Ominis heard Diana give him a shove and he just chucked.
"ANYWAY, do you think you could meet me after the houses are dismissed?"
"Sure, do you want-" he tried to say but he was cut off.
"What? What about me?" Sebastian whined with an air of dramatics.
"I just spent the whole summer with you. I want to be with just Ominis for a little bit."
"You were just with him for like seven hours, that definitely seems like enough time for just the two of you. Besides, there's so much room in the undercroft, you won't even notice me."
"I don't want to go to the undercroft."
Ominis felt surprised "you don't? Where did you want to go then?"
"I don't want this one-" he assumed she pointed to Sebastian "to follow us there. Do you think you could just meet me at the bell tower courtyard, right next to the Care of Magical Beasts class?"
"Sure, seems easy enough-"
"Well I HATE to end this conversation" Sebastian cut in again, not at all sounding like he hated it, "but if we don't leave now we are going to have to walk in with all the first years. And I don't know about you, but I don't want to risk getting re-sorted into Gryffindor."
"Oh they would never- a snake like you, impossible." Diana replied with mock seriousness.
The blind boy smiled as he heard her start to walk away. Then he jumped as Sebastian leaned down and whispered in his ear with a sickly sweet voice;
"Do you need me to hold your hand?"
He shoved in the direction of his voice and hit his mark. After hearing him fall a ways off, Ominis pulled out his wand and hurried after Diana- trying to ignore the snickers coming from his fallen friend.
