Poppy took a deep breath. "Let me see if I've got this all straight. You snuck into the Gaunts house on Christmas eve, broke your foot, rescued all their creatures, got attacked by Ominis' brother, subsequently chopped off half your hair, and then finally went to get your foot healed."

"Don't forget the part about the secret room she's been hiding from all of us, except Garreth, all year!" Sebastian called out from the other side of said secret room.

"Right- and you have five terrariums full of creatures you have spent the last two years reducing and breeding, all in a secret Hogwarts room.... Did I get it all?"

"Don't forget the Garreth part!" The boy called out again, but he was quickly smack across the head by the Slytherin next to him.

"I know it's a lot, and again I am sorry that this is the first time you are hearing about the Room of Requirements. Just like with the boys I would have told you if at any point I felt you needed it. I wasn't purposefully hiding it from you-" Poppy raised her hand at Diana to stop her apology.

"I'm not upset with you. You are under no obligation to tell me every secret you have. We are friends, but you are still your own person. Honestly I am grateful that you even shared it with me now- I am beyond excited to help you care for the struggling animals."

Diana smiled at her, and Poppy could see the gratitude and sincerity in her eyes.

"So you will help me?? Thank you so much!! I know with your help we can get these animals better and back into the wild in no time!"

"Of course! There's no way I am going to say no to this, even before I realized you somehow have a Thunderbird in one of these things-" she gestured to the many rooms around them. "But before we get into that, there's still something else I can't understand."

"What is it?" Asked Ominis, who was now holding his hand over Sebastian's mouth.

"Well obviously I still don't understand everything that happened Christmas even, but what I REALLY don't get is why you needed to chop your hair right before the dance."

The girl's grin turned a bit sheepish and her face seemed to get a little more pink. Poppy didn't need occlumency to tell that Diana hadn't been thinking at all about the upcoming event before slicing it off.

Poppy sighed. "Well we can figure something out I guess. All in all it doesn't really matter, you could probably shave all your hair off and Garreth would still find you the most beautiful girl in the room."

The reactions to her comments were quite funny. Diana's face went from slightly pink to beat red in a matter of seconds. And the boys across the room found themselves in a bit of a coughing fit, the blond still covering the brunette's mouth with his hand. Poppy chuckled as she turned to them.

"Since you two are now here for the Holiday I assume you are going to choose to attend?"

Ominis got control of himself first, dropping his hand finally, before answering. "Well seeing as everyone is going, it would be a shame to miss such an event."

"Plus!" Sebastian chimed in, "Someone is going to have to make sure Garreth keeps his hands to himself!"

In an instant a spell shot from Diana's wand and hit the boy squarely in the chest; sending him and his chair crashing to the ground. Poppy and Ominis began to laugh while the other girl looked like was ready to take another shot at him.
