Sebastian opened the door to his old home in Feldcroft and stepped inside. He was met with darkness, and when he lit his wand he was then met with dust. It was apparent that Anne still hadn't been back here at all, and that thought made the light of his wand seem to dim. He casted scourgify to clear the mess, and then lit a fire in the fireplace. He took a seat at the kitchen table and stared into the flames.

He didn't know why he was here- it had just been another sleepless night, lying awake in his bed, and his body just seemed to leave on its own. Sneaking out of the castle was childs play at this point, and then he just flew over the valley to get here. He didn't really know what he expected to see, he knew Anne wouldn't be here, and his uncle... he was gone now- not that he would want to see him anyway.

It had been a week of a whole new kind of misery. When Diana had hugged him after his outburst he felt a lightness that had been absent for a long time. He didn't even know what to do at that moment, he hadn't even time to put his arms around her when Hecat showed up. As soon as she let go though the delicate feeling was gone. He didn't even remember what he had talked with the professor about, only that he had detention this weekend, tomorrow, after quidditch... but what did any of that matter.

He was alone- alone in his old home, alone at school, alone in life... and that loneliness ate at him like never before through the week. He had made his life this way; he didn't want to admit it to himself but it was true. Everything that had happened to drive everyone away from him was his fault. He deserved this utter loneliness that was now more a part of him than anything else.

Thought of his parents floated around him in his mind's eye. Memories shared in this very building, all the happiness and love were nowhere to be found now. What he would give to have even a moment more with them- unburdened with this pain and darkness. He had spent more time without them than with them at this point in his life- and that number would just continue to grow. Was he doomed to always be left alone? Those he cared for were either taken for him or pushed away by his own doing.

It was a physical pain now, as much as it was emotional. It made him ache all over and kept him from being able to eat and sleep. He had skipped all his meals, even the sight of food made him feel sick. He was weak, and that made everything worse. He felt a weight pushing down on him and he clutched his head. He wanted it to be over, he couldn't handle it anymore. But he didn't even deserve that! He deserved all the pain and suffering he brought on himself, but his body was at its limit. The room started to swim around him, and the fire faded from his view.

He crashed to the ground, hearing the chair clatter behind him. The stone floors were cold, but it didn't decrease the heat rising through him. Everything was hot and dark and suffocating. He couldn't breath, he couldn't think- but it didn't matter because soon everything went dark and there was nothing more he could do.
