Dear Diana,
I am glad to hear that you are settled back into Hogwarts, I'm jealous, but content enough in my state to live vicariously through you. I always appreciated the fact that we arrived at the castle on a Saturday, and had Sunday to sort of get ourselves in order. What I really enjoyed though was convincing Ominis that we could indeed play an extra round of gobstones on Saturday night because there weren't any classes the next day.
It sounds like you will have a heavy course load this year. I don't think you could give me all the money in Gringotts to take double potions, especially not with Sharp. I mean he's decent enough, but I can't imagine having to learn from that man two classes in a row. He already didn't like having me for the singular class I would take.
I have full confidence in you though, I mean you have accomplished greater things than a couple of NEWT level classes. Honestly if you can't keep up with the workload then the school may need to assess what they are doing to their students.
I'm sorry, this letter will be short, I'm feeling extra tired today. I haven't even made it out of bed on my own at all this week. I am surprised I have the energy for even this, but writing to you and reading your letters definitely helps me feel more whole.
Wish the Slytherin's good luck on tryouts this week. I can't wait to hear all about them.
Yours, Anne
