After classes Lena came out to wait for Kara just outside the journalism building. She got a message saying that her fiancé would be running a little late so she waited. A few minutes later Kara was walking out of the building with her bag in hand. "Hey gorgeous!" Kara called out as she ran over to Lena. "Hey yourself beautiful! Ready for practice?" Lena asked. "Yes, are you coming to watch?" Kara asked. "I am, it'll give me time to work on my paper for my biometric class." Lena replied. "Oh cause that's code for 'I'm gonna watch my hot fiancé run around in gym shorts.' Right?" Kara asked teasingly. "Mmhmm you know me so well soulmate. Now come on, let's get you to your practice." Lena replied with a smile.
Holding hands they walked to the gymnasium only to separate so Kara could go change and Lena could sit in the bleachers and watch. "Alright ladies! Huddle up let's do some laps!" The coach bellowed. 'Rao chick calm the fuck down!' Lena thought to herself as she began working on her paper. Kara began running beside Jennifer as they did their laps. Lena kept looking up periodically checking on Kara making sure none of her teammates made a move on her.
Meanwhile at the Chinese restaurant Alex and Andrea have just placed their orders. "How were your classes?" Alex asked. "Good, just a bunch of lectures today." Andrea replied. "Same with me." Alex replied. "So how do you feel about your little sister being engaged?" Andrea asked. "I'm happy for her. She and Lena are soulmates. I mean you've seen them together, it's like two magnets, one moves and so does the other." Alex replied. "Were you like that with your exe?" Andrea asked. "Ha...no! We were close sure...but nothing like Lena and Kara. Maggie and I were friends since kindergarten...so I guess you could say I felt safe with her." Alex replied. "I understand that. I was the same way with my first girlfriend. It's like a personal safety net." Andrea replied with a smile.
Back inside the gym Kara is just coming out of the locker room holding bags on both shoulders. "Here, let me take one for you darling." Lena says as she reaches out to grab one. "Thanks Lee. I'm starving...let's go make some food." Kara said as they left the gym together.
