Sunday night came and Lena was impatiently pacing in the snow while she waited for Kara's bus to return. She was excited to see her fiancé especially ever since she learned they won the game. Alex, Andrea, and she had worked hard on making a 'congratulations' dinner for her when she returned tonight. The bus pulled into the parking lot and came to a stop a few feet away from where Lena stood. She watched as women got off and headed to their dorms, her eyes searched until they were met with the blue ones of her fiancé. "LEE!" Kara yelled as she ran over to the dark haired woman. She dropped her bags and pulled Lena into hug and spun her around. "I missed you!" Lena whispered. "I missed you too!" Kara replied as they pulled apart.

"Here let me get your bags love, get inside where it's warm." Lena said even though she knows the cold doesn't bother Kara at all she still act like it does around everyone else. Kar got inside and buckled up while Lena tossed her bags in the back seat before climbing in the drivers seat. "Ready to go home?" Lena asked. "Yes! Oh...uh...Eliza's sending us a box of craft beer since I'm not twenty one yet...I couldn't buy it so she did and said it should be arriving soon." Kara explained. "Oh! That's nice of her!" Lena replied as she drove them to their townhouse.

A few minutes later Kara was pulling her bags out of the backseat and walking inside behind Lena. "CONGRATULATIONS!"  Andrea and Alex yelled out. "Thanks guys! Oh what smells so good?" Kara asked. "We made you a celebration dinner for helping get Columbia into the NCAA finals." Alex said. Kara looked over the food and smiled. Their was macaroni and cheese, a roast, baked potatoes, and a few mixed vegetables. "Guys! This looks sooooooo good!" Kara gushed.

"Here let me put these away and we can eat." Andrea said as she pulled out the ice cream and apple cider from Kara's bags placing it in the fridge and freezer. Kara quickly sat down and began piling food on her plate. As she took a bite she sighed with joy at the wonderful taste of everything.
