New Years was well over and Kara was back to basketball practice and the newspaper, and Lena was back to classes and studying during Kara's practices. That's where she is now, watching Kara practice and working on another paper. "LADIES! HUDDLE UP!" The coach yells. Lena smiles as she watches Kara run over to the coach and join the huddle. "Ok! Next week is our championship! You've proven yourselves this year, now heres whats gonna happen...there's gonna be no more practices, so go home..and get some good nights sleep between now and then!" The coach finished her little speech and released the team.

Kara ran off the court and quickly changed before going to meet Lena. "Hey there gorgeous!" Lena greeted. "Hey beautiful! Are you ready to go home?" Kara asked. "Yea, come on...let's go." Lena said as they walked to the car together. "How were your classes?" Kara asked as they drove home. "Good! What about yours?" Lena asked. "The same, I have to look over some articles for Julie and a little bit of research to do for my English class." Kara replied. "Julie's letting you look over articles now? I thought that was the junior editors job." Lena replied. "It is...but she's out sick and Julie thinks that this time next year I'll be good enough to be the junior editor." Kara replied softly.

"Kara! That's amazing news! You know what junior reporter means?" Lena asked. "That I'll have more work to do?" Kara asked. "Well..yes..but it also means that as a senior you'll be editor of the paper! It'll look amazing on your resume!" Lena gushed as they pulled through the gates. "Oh yea..." Kara replied. "Kara? Is everything ok?" Lena asked as they headed inside. "Yea Lee, everything's good." Kara replied. "Ok..what happened? And don't say nothing, cause I know something happened jut by the way you're talking." Lena said.

Kara let out a sigh as she sat down on the sofa. "So I was in my English class taking down notes like normal when Sam came up to me...she started talking and at first I didn't pay attention to her...but then she said.... 'I'm only with Maggie to make Alex jealous...I know she only purposed to Andrea because she can't have Maggie back...but Maggie will get her back...just like I'll get you back when Luthor comes to her senses and realizes that she can do better then you...and when she does...you'll come crawling back to me!' I didn't say anything in response to her though. I was too mad to say something so after class ended I left the room quickly and didn't look back." Kara replied. "Kara...Maggie won't attempt to breakup Alex and Andrea, nor will I dump you for anyone else! Sam's just a bitch...now come on love, let's do our homework so we can eat...and I can ravish you." Lena replied.
