After getting home and eating a large dinner Kara and Lena sat down and worked on their assignments. "So...I don't have the paper next Friday...and I was thinking maybe we could go do some Christmas shopping after classes?" Kara suggested. "What about basketball practice?" Lena asked. "Not until Saturday morning." Kara replied. "Oh..ok..yea we can do that." Lena said. "Ok good, cause I'm pretty excited about Christmas this year." Kara replied. "Oh? How come?" Lena asked smiling at her fiancé. "Cause Lee its gonna be here! At our house! Our first Christmas at our house!" Kara exclaimed happily!
"I know..the first of many Christmas's here." Lena replied. "And..I know exactly what I'm gonna be getting everyone this year too!" Kara chimed in. "Really?" Lena asked. "Yes!" Kara replied as she began typing up the rest of her paper. Lena smiled at her as she continued on her work. "I was thinking..." Lena said after a few minutes. "About what?" Kara asked. "This summer. What do you say about us going someplace other than Midvale?" Lena asked. "Where would you want to go?" Kara asked. "Hmm maybe we could go to Hawaii again or maybe the Bahamas." Lena suggested. "The Bahamas sound nice." Kara replied. "Really?" Lena asked. "Yes." Kara replied with a smile.
A few hours later both women were finished with their work and tucked into bed. "So next year you're gonna be a senior...what are you gonna do with all those advanced classes?" Kara asked. "I'll do it the same way I'm doing my classes now." Lena replied. "So...that mean's we'll have less time to ourselves..." Kara groaned. "I know love. But thats why I'm planning on taking you away this summer. So we can have alone time." Lena replied.
"A whole two months in the white sandy beaches...wearing nothing but bikinis...I'm ok with that." Kara hummed. "I'm glad...now let's get some sleep...tomorrow may be Saturday but we've both got busy weekends ahead of us." Lena hummed. "Good night Lee..." Kara whispered. "Good night Kara..." Lena whispered in response.
