It was nearing the middle of summer and the four women were still enjoying themselves in Midvale. "I'm thinking we should go out to dinner tonight...all of us." Eliza said as she poured coffee. "I like the idea." Alex said. "Me too!" Kara and Lena chimed in. "Same!" Andrea replied. "Ok good! I'll make reservations at that new French place." Eliza said. Everyone nodded as they continued eating breakfast.

A little while later everyone was lounging outside in the shade of the trees that hung over the lake. The four of them were bobbing around in inflatable tubes and sipping drinks from their floating cooler. "This is what I'm talking about!" Andrea said. "Yea.." Alex sighed. "Drinks..sunshine...the lake...and shade..." Lena hummed. "And one alien who can't get drunk..." Kara chimed in. "You can't get drunk!?!" Andrea asked. "Nope...human alcohol doesn't affect me." Kara laughed. "Well Lena...you'll always have a designated driver...or flyer..." Andrea replied teasingly. "Yea...and that's another thing that makes her perfect." Lena replied as she reached out to take Kara's hand in her own.

They remained in the lake for a few more hours before Kara and Lena got out deciding that they wanted to go into town to do some shopping. "We'll be back in a little while." Lena said as they hopped into the car. "So? What are we looking for exactly?" Kara asked. "There's an antique shop I want to look through." Lena replied. "Oh...looking for something particular?" Kara asked. "Yes nosey...I'm looking for a gift to bring back to the house." Lena replied. "For our house?" Kara asked. "Yes love." Lena replied. "Oh..ok..."Kara replied.

A few minutes later Lena was pulling into the parking lot of the antique shop. "Come on...let's go see what we can find." Lena said as she held the door open for Kara. "I told you that I didn't want to change anything about the house." Kara said. "I know. But I thought if we'd go shopping together that you may find something you want to add to the house." Lena replied. "Oh..ok.." Kara replied. "Oh stop groaning...it's our house..it's ok to add your flare to it darling." Lena said. "Yes dear." Kara replied as they began walking through the building.
