In the morning the couple stumbled down the stairs and into the dining room to see a breakfast buffet sat out before them. "Oh Rao! I love breakfast!" Kara exclaimed sleepily as she sat down at the table. Lena smiled as she joined her and sipped her coffee. Kara had the first basketball ball game of the season, but what she didn't know was that everyone in the house bought tickets and Columbia sweatshirts with her number on them to wear and support her. "Ready for the game today?" Lena asked. "Yes! I can't wait! We've been practicing nonstop lately, I'm really ready for today." Kara replied.
Lena couldn't help but smile at the blonde. "Here's to Columbia's next basketball ball championship!" Lena said as she raised her mug up to Kara's glass of orange juice. 'Clink' "Another two years of sports championships!" Kara replied with a smile. "Rao knows what they'll do when you graduate...they'll have to find someone else as great as you to play for them." Lena said. "Well...maybe one day our kids will come here, and they'll play sports for them." Kara replied softly avoiding eye contact. "Yes! Little Kara's running around bringing Columbia's championships back to back." Lena gushed. "Little Karlena's you mean." Kara hummed.
"Karlena's?" Lena asked. "Yes! Karlena's little you's and me's the perfect balance between brains and brawn." Kara said with a smirk on her face. "We're not naming our children Karlena!" Lena exclaimed laughing as she finished her food. Kara rolled her eyes. "I didn't mean we'd be name them Karlena..." Kara grumbled. "I know...I just like messing with you." Lena replied. "Ive got to go get ready..are you coming Lee?" Kara asked. Lena quickly stood up and followed her fiancé back through the house and back upstairs.
After a longer than usual shower Kara was dressed in sweatpants, sneakers, tshirt and a hoodie with her gym bag slung over her shoulder she headed out to where her car sat idling. "I'll see you later Kara...I'll be the one with the sign in my hands." Lena whispered as she kissed the blondes lips. "I can't wait! I'll see you at the game darling." Kara replied as she headed to her car and slung her stuff in the back seat.
