In the morning Kara and Lena woke up tangled up in each other's arms. "Good morning beautiful." Lena whispered as she brushed a strand of hair from Kara's face. "Good morning hun." Kara replied. "Do you wanna pick out the Christmas tree today?" Lena asked. "Yes." Kara replied with a smile. "Ok..let's get up and go have breakfast." Lena said. "Sounds good to me." Kara hummed in agreement.

A few minutes later they sat at the table and began eating their breakfast. "When does Eliza come down?" Lena asked. "Tomorrow, she's really looking forward to it." Kara said as she bit into her bagel sandwich. "Oh good! I can't wait for her to get here." Lena gushed. "Alex and Andrea will be over here tonight." Kara added. "Oh good. Speaking of them...I was wondering if you'd like to host a New Year's Eve Party this year?" Lena asked. "That sounds good! Who else would we invite to it?" Kara asked. "I was thinking we could invite Maggie, and some of your teammates too and their plus ones. It would be a semi formal event, drinks, appetizers, dinner, the whole thing." Lena explained. "That sounds good to me Lee." Kara said. "Good, we can go get outfits later today." Lena said.

After breakfast and showers they headed to the local tree farm to pick out a large tree for the living room. "Wow! They're all so huge!" Kara gasped. "Well we do have tall ceilings, so it makes perfect sense to have a large tree." Lena said. "Yea, I guess you're right. I like this one." Kara said as she pointed to a twelve foot aspen fur. "We'll take it." Lena said. "Let's go pay for it and we can have it delivered." Kara said as they made their way back to the front of the lot.

"We'd like to have the twelve foot aspen fur tree delivered to this address by this afternoon." Lena said. The man nodded as he wrote everything down. "It will be there by noon." The man said. "Thank you!" Lena said as she and Kara headed for the car. "Our first Christmas in our own house!" Kara squealed. "First of many!" Lean added she drove them home again.
