A few long hours later the suv was pulling into Eliza's driveway. Eliza like always stood on the porch smiling and waving at the girls as they got out of the car. She came over and pulled Lena into a hug, before going to Andrea and hugging her before going on to Alex and Kara. "Welcome to Midvale Andrea! Now I won't have any of this 'Mrs. Danvers' stuff...you can call me Eliza, or mom whatever you prefer." Eliza stated. "Got it. They've kind of gave me a rundown of what to expect." Andrea replied. "Good! I'm glad my girls explained things." Eliza added as they walked inside with their things.
"Now you'll be in Alex's room, I hope thats ok." Eliza said as they walked upstairs. "That's fine." Andrea replied. "Good, I'll give you girls some time and then we'll head out for dinner." Eliza replied with a smile. Lena and Kara slipped into Kara's room and began unpacking their things. "Ah look at our new pajamas." Lena squealed as she held up the reindeer onesies. "Oh Rao! She got us all different onesies." Kara groaned. "I think it's sweet!" Lena replied with a smile.
A few minutes later everyone returned downstairs and got ready to go out to dinner. "Ok! Diner here we come!" Eliza stated. Everyone climbed into the suv and headed to the small diner in town. Andrea looked out the window at the scenery around her. "It's really beautiful here." Andrea replied. "Told you..." Alex replied. "Eliza! I love the onesies! The reindeer is adorable!" Lena said. "Oh thank you Lena! I'm glad you like it! I figured you and Kara could be the reindeer this year, and Alex and Andrea you two can be elves and I'll be Santa..." Eliza replied.
"I love that idea! The girls told me about the pictures that are taken." Andrea replied. "Oh yes..we take a lot of pictures of everything we do." Eliza replied. "I also told her to bring a lot of warm clothes for Christmas tree shopping." Alex added. "It's not that bad..." Kara groaned. "It's really not Andrea...it's actually a lot of fun." Lena replied as she put an arm around Kara.
