"You made the paper again! Look at you! Front page news!" Lena gushed as she looked at the school paper over breakfast. "I know...I can't believe it." Kara replied with a smile. "So? What do you have planned for today?" Lena asked. It's Saturday and Lena wanted to spend it with Kara. "I have to run into the paper for a few minutes but after that...I'm free." Kara replied. "Good. I'll come with you...I want to take you out after...we haven't been on a proper date since your birthday." Lena explained. "Ok! Well after we get ready we can go to the paper, then we can go on a date." Kara said. "Works for me!" Lena said with a smile.
A little while later after showering and getting dressed Kara and Lena headed to the paper so Kara could get what she needed. "Hey Julie! I came to get that thing." Kara said as she walked into the paper room. Lena followed right behind her and waited by the door. "Oh...right...hey Lena..." Julie greeted. "Hello Julie." Lena replied smiling. "So..that thing?" Kara asked again. "Oh yea..here you go, I need you to interview the dean on the new changes that are coming to Columbia." Julie replied passing Kara a stack of papers. "Ok! When do you need it done?" Kara asked. "You have two weeks to get it done." Julie replied. "Ok!" Kara said. "That's all." Julie replied. "Ok! Come on Lee, let's go." Kara said.
They quickly left the campus and Lena began driving them down town. "Where are we heading?" Kara asked. "There's a new shop down here. I thought we'd check it out, maybe get a few things for the house, then grab lunch and walk around a bit." Len said. "Oh ok!" Kara replied. A few minutes later they were pulling up in front of a small shop and getting out. "Here we are!" Lena said. "A Little Bit...Of Everything..." Kara read the name of the shop before she and Lena walked inside.
There was all sorts of things inside the shop, books, clothes, just anything and everything someone would want or need. "Come on let's look around." Lena said as she took Kara's hand and pulled her about the store.
