By the time the softball championship rolled around everyone was busy with finals preparations, right now Alex and Lena were busy watching the final game as their fiancés ran bases. "GO KARA!" Lena cried out. "RUN ANDI!" Alex yelled as Andrea slid into home. "YAAAAASSSS!" They both cheered. The game slowly came to an end meaning that Columbia had won another championship. Kara and Andrea walked through the other team congratulating them on a game well played before walking off the diamond.
"Congratulations baby!" Lena gushes as she pulled Kara into a tight hug. "Thank you Lee." Kara replies with a smile. "You're welcome love. You ready to go home?" Lena asked. "Yes...by Alex...Andrea.." Kara called as they walked off together. A few minutes later they were back home Kara showers while Lena starts the laundry. "Ugh...that felt good." Kara said as she came downstairs in shorts and a sports bra. "Looking hot babe." Lena said as she walked over to her fiancé.
"Why thank you babe. I'm glad the seasons over, I'm ready for finals and summer." Kara said. "Yea..me too. Then I think we should go to Hawaii..." Lena said. "Really?" Kara asked. "Yea..just you and me...and the beach." Lena said as they sat down at the table. "Ah another trip to Hawaii I like the idea of that." Kara said as their dinner arrived. "Good, cause I already booked us a private villa on one of the smaller islands." Lena said I with a smile.
After a lovely dinner of lasagna and breadsticks Kara and Lena headed to the living room to cuddle for a while. "Do you have any stories to write?" Lena asked. "No, Julie let me have this week off so I could focus on my game." Kara said. "That was nice of her." Lena said. "Yea..I know...I was very grateful for it too." Kara said as she rubbed Lena's back.
