Kara slumped on the sofa after her last exam. "Rough exam?" Lena asked. "Yea..the last one for this year..." Kara replied. Lena pulled Kara into her arms and cuddled her. "It's all over now." Lena whispered. "I know. I'm ready for our vacation." Kara replied. "I know, I am too. I can't wait either, it'll be nice to have some alone time together." Lena said. "Yea...no school, no papers, nothing....just us." Kara hummed. "Yes love." Lena said. "Are all of your exams done?" Kara asked. "Yes. We're both done. Now we can relax." Lena said.
A little while later they were eating dinner and talking about their summer plans. "So two weeks in Hawaii, then to Midvale for the rest of the summer, then home." Kara repeated. "Yep...that way we'll be able to spend time with everybody." Lena said. "Good idea." Kara said. "I thought so." Lena said as they continued eating. "This is so good." Kara said as she continued eating the macaroni and cheese.
After dinner they headed upstairs to pack their bags for Hawaii before returning down stairs to watch a movie. Kara lay down and Lena lay on top of her awhile that watched a movie. "This time tomorrow we'll be on a beach watching the sun go down over the ocean." Lena whispered. "I know. Two weeks of sun, sand, ocean, and you in bikinis. It's gonna be a wonderful time." Kara hummed. "So you're just excited to see me in a bikini?" Lena asked teasingly. "Well it is a nice view." Kara hummed.
After a few movies they were heading upstairs to bed. "So everyone goes home tonight?" Kara asked. "Yes. They'll be gone all summer, like we will be." Lena said. Kara nods as she pulled Lena into her arms and kissed her before they laid down and settled into bed.
