Xiaodan didn't know who or where to find such a thing to make someone fall in love. Her best hope was for Auntie Mo. She hurried to Auntie Mo.

"Auntie Mo!" Xiaodan said in a hurry.

"Xiaodan, you're back? What's wrong? You seem to be in a hurry?" Auntie Mo said.

"Do...do you know anything about how to get a love potion or an arrow or anything that will make someone fall in love?" Xiaodan said, panting.

"What! Xiaodan, have you lost your mind! Do you even know what you are saying?" Auntie Mo said, shocked. "You can't say such a thing. You know how much of a taboo it is to say those words," Auntie Mo said in hushed words while looking around.

"I don't care. I must find a way to make him fall in love! I can't let him suffer because of me....," Xiaodan said.

"Xiaodan, do you want to get punished? Think this through," Auntie Mo said, trying to reason with her.

"Please, Auntie Mo. You must know something," Xiaodan pleaded.

Auntie Mo sighed, "I'm sorry, but I don't know...However, I have a feeling the caretakers know. They nurture the young, so they must have some knowledge about a love potion."

"Thank you, Auntie Mo," Xiaodan said in gratitude and hurried off. Auntie Mo watched as Xiaodan left, when a man in white approached her.

"Xiaodan, have you gone insane!" Auntie Bai, Auntie Li, Auntie Ai, and Auntie Mei said.

"Do you know what you are saying?" Auntie Mei said.

"I do. So please. Do you guys know anything about a love potion or anything to make someone fall in love?" Xiaodan said with great urgency.

"Xiaodan, you finally got back to mid-level cases again. Are you sure you want to do this?" Auntie Bai said.

"Yes! If you get caught, they will turn you into dust, and you will cease to exist," Auntie Ai said.

"I'm fine with that. At least he will find happiness...," Xiaodan said.

"How can you be sure that he will find happiness? You are forcing him to love someone he doesn't. He will be stuck in this fake illusion. Do you really want that for him?" Auntie Li asked, looking at Xiaodan.

"....but at least he won't be alone." Xiaodan softly said.

They all looked at Xiaodan before letting out a sigh. They all looked at one another before Auntie Bai stepped forward.

"Alright..., since you insist so much. We...do have a love potion stashed away, tightly sealed," Auntie Bai said.

"Really!" Xiaodan lit up. "Thank you! Thank you," Xiaodan said in relief.

Once Xiaodan obtained the potion, she hurried away. Auntie Bai, Auntie Li, Auntie Ai, and Auntie Mei watched her go. Soon, a man in a white suit appeared behind them.

"How did it go?" Cupid asked them.

"She took the potion...," Auntie Ai said.

"I see," Cupid said, rubbing his chin.

"We tried to reason with her, but nothing changed her mind," Auntie Mei said.

"We'll...have to see if she uses it," Auntie Li said.

"Yes, we must see what she does? I wonder what she will do. Fate is testing her before deciding on what to do," Cupid said.

"I hope she makes the right decision...," Auntie Bai said, worried. They all looked in the direction Xiaodan disappeared.

Xiaodan entered the campus in a hurry and was lucky to spot Wu Mingze immediately.

"You're back already?" Wu Mingze said, seeing Xiaodan rushing towards him as he just finished his class for the day.

"Drink! Drink this," Xiaodan said frantically, trying to shove a drink in his hand.

"MengYao, there's someone looking for you. He says he's a relative of yours. He's quite the looker," a fellow student said to MengYao, who was aimlessly drawing on a canvas.

MengYao stopped drawing and looked in the direction the fellow student was pointing.

MengYao was surprised to see Senior Zixin.

"What brings you here?" MengYao said, crossing her arms, as they were in a secluded area.

"I need your help?" Senior Zixin said.

"Me? Help you? How can I help you?" MengYao said.

"It has to do with Xiaodan," Senior Zixin said.

"What happened? Is she okay?" MengYao said, uncrossing her arms and moving closer to Senior Zixin.

"Oh, look at that. When it comes to Xiaodan, you don't hesitate to help, but for me, you say otherwise," Senior Zixin smiled.

"Stop being petty. It's not the time for that. What happened to Xiaodan?" MengYao said, trying to get back on topic.

"I think she is planning to do something that will get her in trouble. I need your help to find her," Senior Zixin said.

"Don't you have your ways in finding her faster?" MengYao said in a hurry.

"By the time I get the answer, Xiaodan might have done something already. So help me go look for her. Let's hurry," Senior Zixin said.

"What's this for?" Wu Mingze said, smiling and looking at her, as he was delighted to see her.

"Just drink. Hurry and drink," Xiaodan urgently said.

"Mmm," Wu Mingze listened to her, taking the drink with complete trust. As he was about to drink the potion, she looked at him. She felt her eyes sting. Tears swelled up in her eyes. She couldn't help but think, how lonely he has been all those years in each life.

"What's wrong? Why are you crying?" Wu Mingze said abruptly, halting from taking a drink.

"Stupid!... Why are you so stupid...?" Xiaodan cried, looking at him with tears falling from her eyes.

Wu Mingze broke into a smile, "How am I stupid? What did I do? Tell me." He leaned close to her and wiped her tears away. Xiaodan clutched onto his shirt and looked up at him with red, teary eyes.

"Y-you idiot...." Xiaodan sobbed.

"Come now, tell me what I did wrong?" Wu Mingze said, caressing her cheek as she leaned on his hand.

"W-hy...why did you fall in love with me...," Xiaodan mumbled.

"Oh," Wu Mingze raised his eyebrows, "You found out," he casually said with a smile, still wiping her tears. She saw the way he looked at her. The love in his eyes.

"Stupid," she grumbled before throwing herself into his arms. "Why are you so dumb...," she murmured, not able to bear the heartache she felt before nuzzling her face against his chest.
