"Oh MengYao, surprised to see you back," hollered someone. MengYao turned her attention to the person.

"Yeah, just came back for a mini break," MengYao simply answered.

"How's your case going?" the person asked.

"It's going well," MengYao casually said. They both said their quick goodbye and continued along. Immediately, MengYao spotted Senior Zixin, and soon, SeniorZixin noticed her as well. A smile appeared on his face, while a small frown appeared on her face as she felt slightly irritated by his smile.

"Hey, it's been a month now. Has Xiaodan's bracelet been fixed yet?" MengYao said in an unfriendly voice. Senior Zixin smiled even brighter at the tone of MengYao's voice.

"Hmm...not sure," Senior Zixing teased, rubbing his chin. MengYao obviously knew he was messing with her, and he knew the answer.

"Cut crap and tell me," MengYao said.

"Alright, I won't tease you anymore. It's still being fixed. It should be done soon," Senior Zixin answered.

"Alright, thanks...," MengYao said plainly. "See ya," she added before walking away.

"Stop right there," Senior Zixin said seriously, making her stop in her tracks and turn back.

"What is it?" she said.

"Don't think I don't know what you are up to," Senior Zixin said, raising one of his eyebrows. MengYao looked into his eyes and immediately knew that he knew.

"W-what are you talking about? I-I don't know what you are talking about," MengYao said, flustered.

"I can see it in your eyes," Senior Zixin said, narrowing his eyes and walking closer to her.

"I-I," she hesitated to speak.

"Don't you know you will get into trouble if you butt in?" Senior Zixin said, leaning his face closer to her.

"T-then do me a favor, and you do it," MengYao asked. A smirk appeared on his face. He soon leaned back and crossed his arm.

"You want me to get in trouble then?" Senior Zixin teased her.

MengYao tightened her lips and said, "Stop with your black-bellied self. I know with your tricks, you'll be fine."

"Heh," Senior Zixin gave out a smug smile. "Alright, but what will you give me in return?" His voice turned cunning, and his gaze sharpened as his smile grew intimidating.

"Forget it, I can do it myself," MengYao said, not wanting to waste her time with him anymore as she was about to walk away, but Senior Zixin immediately grabbed her wrist.

"I already agreed, but it simply comes with a price," he said with a smile.

In the busy campus, a tall man with black jeans and a black shirt walked around, slightly attracting every gaze. This young man was unfamiliar to them. It couldn't be possible not to remember a face like that. Soon, some courageous girls went up to him.

"Umm, are you new here? I haven't seen you around before," one of the girls said with a hint of nervousness.

The tall man turned his attention to the girl.

"No, I'm just a visitor. I am looking for the business department. Can you point me in the correct direction?" Senior Zixin said, giving out a fake sweet smile

The girl immediately fell for his smile before saying, "Um..ah... that direction... but can I get your number?"

Senior Zixin smiled brightly, but his eyes still remained uninterested. "Sorry, but I don't know you well enough to give you my number. But thank you for pointing out the direction." Senior Zixin said, leaving the girls all standing there, watching him in awe.

While Senior Zixin was walking away, he glanced at the clock tower, and a smirk hooked up on his face. Soon enough, Li Chyou and them exited the business department once Senior Zixin was close to the building. He coincidentally hid from them, not to notice him as they walked past him except for one person, and that person immediately noticed Senior Zixin.

"Hey, you guys go without me. I have something to do," Wu Mingze said. He thought he saw someone that looked familiar.

"A-alright?" Feng Yichen said, glancing back at Wu Mingze, who was looking back as if he was looking for someone.

"Okay, see you back at the dorm," Zhu Haoran said, unbothered.

"Ah, okay," Li Chyou said, "Well, I'll go first since I'll be going to the library," she added as she was about to leave.

"Hold up. I will go with you," Feng Yichen said, stopping Li Chyou from leaving.

"A-are you sure?" Li Chyou said softly.

"Yeah," he answered, aloof. Wu Mingze didn't seem to care about their small exchange and quickly said his goodbyes and went after the familiar figures.

Once Wu Mingze left the group, he immediately bumped into Senior Zixin.

"Oh, surprise to see you," Senior Zixin said with a smile.

"You're Zhao Xiaodan's cousin, right?" Wu Mingze said. Senior Zixin didn't answer but continued to smile.

"You're Xiaodan's classmate, right?" Senior Zixin said instead.

"Where's Xiaodan? Why hasn't she answered any of our calls or texts?" Wu Mingze asked.

"Oh, well she's still busy at home and won't be back soon," Senior Zixin casually said with a smile. Wu Mingze was starting to get annoyed by his fake smile.

"Then why are you here?" Wu Mingze said, slightly hostile.

"Ah, well Xiaodan forgot her notebook and asked me to get it for her," Senior Zixin answered, not bothered, and started to smile in a smug way. "But why are you so curious about Xiaodan's whereabouts?" Senior Zixin questioned with a hint of mockery in his voice.

"What is it to you?" Wu Mingzed also questioned.

Senior Zixin smirked, "Well, to be honest, she is actually my childhood friend, and I'm slightly interested in her."
