A couple of days passed, and Zhu Haoran constantly ran off after class and spent less time with them, or he would continuously text on his phone. Finally, he explained to them that he was talking to someone. All he said was they were getting close and wouldn't spill anymore. Xiaodan happily smiled at their progress since she had already finished his case. She didn't need to do anything anymore. Now, she must get Wu Mingze set up.

"Don't get any ideas," Wu Mingze said and sternly looked at Xiaodan as the class ended. Zhu Haoran had finished telling his news and had already left.

"What do you mean?" Xiaodan said, looking at him innocently as she felt he knew what she was planning.

"Don't even think about matching me up," he said, pointing at her.

"Oh...," Xiaodan said as she knew she had been caught. "I don't know what you are talking about," she said, playing dumb.

"Oh," He raised his eyebrow and smirked, "Alright then, say it."

"Say what?" Xiaodan said, getting a little nervous.

"Say that you won't set me up," he said.

"Huh?" Xiaodan sheepishly smiled, acting dumb again.

"Say it. Repeat after me; you won't match me up," he said, staring at her.

She gulped and tried avoiding his eyes. "What are you waiting for? Say it. I need verbal confirmation," he said, smiling deeply.

"I...I won't....," she mumbled softly and started looking down until he could barely hear her anymore.

"Huh, I can't hear you," he teased and raised his eyebrows again and started to play dumb as well.

"I...won't...," she mumbled again as he held his smile.

"Are you two getting up so we can leave?" Li Chyou asked, looking at them.

"Ah, yes!" Xiaodan immediately stood up and sighed in relief. She was so happy she could escape as she scurried away with Li Chyou and Feng Yichen. Wu Mingze chuckled and softly watched Xiaodan run away.
