Still Alive

" I hate this place." you mumbled as you woke up in the dark void " Did I die?" you wondered looking around for any light. You found a source and started walking ahead, for some reason death didn't seem to bad to you this time, maybe because in the back of your head you felt like you would be with " ACE!" you yelled seeing the boy sitting at the grass. Jumping on him you wrapped your arms around him " Hey there." he chuckled and you pulled away to take a better look at him " Did you miss me?" he asked wiping away your tears " Oyaji moved forward already, I just wanted to say one last goodbye." he said and you shook your head " Last?" you asked and he nodded tightening his grip around you " Yea, I have to move on too." he said " Then I'll move on too!" you protested and he shook his head " No. Not now at least, you need to go back. When time comes we will meet again." he said and you tried to hold on to him as he got up.

He softly pried your hands away and held them softly " I'm sure we're gonna find each other again but until then look after everyone for me, especially Luffy." he chuckled and you nodded " LUFFY! He...Jinbe took him away and then..." you began to panic looking back at the darkness. You turned to look back at Ace but the boy turned you back towards the darkness as he wrapped his arms over your shoulders, in the darkness you found the white creature looking at you, hand extended for you to take. 

Without looking back at the black haired male you took a step forward and then another until the darkness surrounded you " Just don't posses me or some weird exorcist shit." you told at the creature taking its hand. You turned to give Ace one last glance, he waved at you before he started walking away.

Someone was crying, he was close whoever it was, you opened your eyes to see Marco sitting on a chair next to you, his hand holding yours as he softly cried " Marco?" you cracked out voice coming out strained. His head shot up and he looked at you with wide eyes tears streaming down his face " Y-you're awake!" he said wiping away his tears quickly " Where are we?" you asked and coughed rather harshly " Don't talk! Your neck is badly injured! I'll tell you everything, but you still need to stay down." he said fussing over you.

Hearing the fuss someone entered the room a man with dirty blond hair tagged back into a ponytail " Ah Hongo! Sorry, I have taken over your infirmary." said Marco and the unknown man shook his head " It's alright told you to treat the place like it's your own." said Hongo and then turned to look at you, smile widening " Looks like our sleeping beauty is awake. Hahaha I got to say you really gave our captain and your crew a scare." he said and you opened your mouth to speak only to began coughing again " Easy there." he said opening a cabinet and taking out a bottle and pouring a spoonful of it in the glass Marco was holding.

It was offered to you and you looked at Marco " It's fine, we're in Red Hairds ship. Hongo is their doctor, he helped keep you alive along with Ahote." he said and you drank the mix that was given to you " The war ended because of Red Haired. You've been out for two weeks, we've already had a ceremony for Oyaji and Ace." he said and squeezed your hands " What about Luffy?" you crocked out " He was taken by one of the Super Novas, Law. Jinbe was with him and I heard that Boa went after them as well." he said and Hongo let out a yell of recognition before walking out.

" Give me the newspaper." said the blond to his captain " Huh why? I'm reading it." whined Shank and the blond man frowned " Just give me the paper I'll give it back." he said trying to pry the paper away. You sweatdropped hearing the argument and turned to Marco who shook his head in disapontment, the door slammed open and you jumped in surprise as Shanks smiled from you ear to ear " You're up!" he said only to be pushed back by Marco " Non of that from you! She just woke up! If someone gets to see her is the rest of her family!" yelled the blond pushing the man out of the room, or well trying too " Are you hungry? Did Hongo check up on you? How are you feeling?" asked Shanks as the two doctors tried to push him out of the room, squeezing his cheeks as they pushed him.

Most of the White Beard pirates were still recovering just like you so you hadn't get to visit or be visited by anyone " Here I manage to get hold of it." said Hongo hading you the news paper " You look like you just fought a cat." you laughed coughing again " Our boy Luffy made the front page once again. I'm sure you're happy that he's alright." smiled the man as you looked at the picture on the news paper " 3D2Y" you read on Luffy's shoulder, it wasn't hard to recognize what he meant " Understood." you mumbled a soft smile tagging at your lips.

You looked as Marco kept running around, obviously being sleep deprived " You need to take a break." you said as the man continued mixing powders, putting aside pills and cleaning surgery equipment " I just need to check on everyone for the night and then I'll clock in for the night." he said and you sighed " Let me help you at least." you said and the man shook his head " Absolutely not, you had a whole in your leg, once you start therapy with Ahote and Hongo then I might considare it." he said and you grabbed the back of his shirt " I need to switch with Deuce." he sighed giving you a pat on the head and leaving the room.

There was tension between you and Ahote, you were well aware that the man had saved you but he much like you was a Diver and most of those you've met so far have been bat shit crazy " No need to be so hostile. I mean you no harm." he said sitting down at the chair across from you " I know, but it's kinda hard to believe." you said eyes narrowed and the man huffed " If this calms your nerves. My captain would have my head if I tried to hurt you." he said and you gave him a look " I'M TELLING THE TRUTH STOP LOOKING AT ME  LIKE THAT!" he yelled as you continued to glare at him " What ever! I was told to get you on your feet, you don't have to like me for us to do that." he said huffing and going threw some notes Marco had scribbled down.

Hello everyone, long time no see.

We're gonna have a few chapters before we do our little time jump. I do not know how many exactly but I want Mc to meet a few people. 

Sorry for taking so long to write, I finally caught up with almost everything that I have noted down so far ( I still have notes for future chapters) and need some time to think the plot further. I also have been busy with personal stuff and working on things for artist alley that I have been accepted at while starting to work back at my part time job and a second morning job.
