Time To Make Some Progress

The next morning you woke up in an empty bed and a goodbye note on the nightstand ' Figures they would just leave, well I'm not that good with goodbyes either.' you thought getting up. The kitchen was stacked so you made yourself some breakfast ' I miss Sanji's cooking.' you thought bitterly wondering where the blond and the rest of your crew mates might have ended up.

Your doorbell rang and it made you wonder how long it had been since you actually heard that sound. Opening the door you found that there was noone there " Huh?" you wondered looking left and right and then you felt it. Covering yourself with Haki was useless since the assailants fist smashed against your body sending you flying threw the wall of your newly acquired house, you groaned filling the bruising already forming " Morning~ Sorry to barge in, but we're starting your training as I said. Did you get your breakfast? Ah...you can have it later." said the elder man as you shook the debris of you while glaring at his golden shining eyes.

" Good, good but not enough. You can't accomplice your purpose at this level yet." said Rebin at your half conscious body " I wanna throw up." you grumbled " Then turn to the side and throw up. Want help?" he asked picking you up and holding you upside down " P-please let me goo." you threw up and the man patted your back " Come on let's go wash up, you have another training session in 3 hours." he said and you paled.

Devouring the food you felt like Luffy had taken over your body " You sure are...hungry." mumbled Rebin's partner and you nodded " Training can be hard so eat as much as you want." he said pushing another plate closer to you " You can take it a little easier, it's not like it's your last meal." said the woman from yesterday " I'm Akela, it's nice to meet you." she said shaking your hand " I'm ( Y/n)." you said and she nodded " Yea I remember. This one here is Salim. We're Rebin's partners and council." she said and the man nodded " I wanted to tell you this before we started eating but you seemed famished. Most people here aren't Divers, well actually the only ones that are, are the three of us and Rebin. So please keep in mind to train outside of the town." he said and you nodded " Well that is not the only thing we wanted to talk to you about, seeing that you're living here and you're an extra mouth to feed you will need to contribute as well." said Akela " Yea, of course. Whatever you need me to do just tell me." you said and the two smiled.

It was minor work but with the training or more well put Rebin beating the shit out of you with his powers, you were a wreck " Shower sweet, sweet shower." you mumbled throwing your clothes away and opening the faucet, you tried to adjust the pressure to reveal the aching on your back and neck " I miss the Sunny." you whined and let the water run to your face. Drying up you took a better look at the house ' It has a pretty modern interior design. Makes me feel like I'm back...' you thought and looked at the Den-den Mushi on the table that looked like you ' These guys would have been a hit back ho- There is no point thinking all that. Better head to bed.' you thought ploping down the mattress. 

" Good morning ~" said Rebin and you blinked " Are you...actively trying to torture me?" you mumbled as the man sat on your bed holding a cup of a warm drink " Torture you? It's 11 in the morning. I actually left you sleep in because I'm generous." he said and offered you the cup when you sat up " Today we don't have training, Akela want's you to go look threw the a couple things together also a tour of the town. I was pretty harsh on you the first day, Salim said that the sudden change of environment can be rough." he said and you chuckled " Don't worry I have been threw a lot of environment changes." you tried to joke.

Akela handed you a notebook " It might be boring but counting with two people will get the job done easier. Don't try to run away and don't try to bindge eat, it will ruin the counting. Whatever you need and don't have at home just tell me and I'l give it to you." she said and you sweatdroped ' She's pretty serious about this. But I guess she has to be." you thought and started counting at your section.

The woman sighed " Yea, it looks like we will have to go for supplies...." she mumbled and from the corner of the door Rebin slid his head, peaking inside with a smug expression " No, absolutely not. You're not coming along." said the woman sternly " But honey come on~" he whined " You are a wanted man from the biggest pirate crew. Can you really roam freely? Well I mean Rayleigh does it." you wondered and Akela shook her head " No it's not that, the down we go to has a small gambling house. It's almost impossible to pry him away." she sighed and your eyes sinned " A gambling house?" you asked " Actually a new casino opened recently." informed the retired pirate and Akela sighed seeing both of your eyes turning to Bellys.

" Good, good....you can still hear me right?" asked Rebin and you nodded " Yes ThOugHHhh, it.." an animalistic growl left your throat " TURN BACK! NOW!" he yelled, a light flashed and you collapsed " I hate this..." you groaned holding your pounding head " Do you hear anything other than the sounds around us?" asked the older man and you shook your head " Nah just us." you said and woobled around as he helped you to stand up " My limbs feel like noodles." you grumbled taking baby steps " Well you're not getting knocked out anymore. You better rest well today because tomorrow is extremely important." he said half carrying you to your house " Why?" you asked and his head snapped to your direction, smiling ear to ear and eyes turned to Belly " Cause we're going to make bank on that casino!" he cheered and you almost lost your balance.

I managed to get this out, my phone broke and I lost my notes, so I had to go back and read all my stories to finally remember how I was planning it out.
