Trigger warning ⚠️: Murder, infant death (not related)

Two Hershey Police Officers stood in the entrance of the 118, Buck froze in the engine knowing probably why they were there. "Your a long way from home officers if your from Hershey, Pen?" Chimney called out, "How do you know that we're from Pen?" "My fiancés from Hershey," he joked, "Her brother is currently hiding in the engine which makes me think that you know him quite well," he continued, "Buck get your ass out here," Chimney yelled again, "Kid don't make me order you," Bobby asked, "Buck look at me." His cheeks were stained with tears and his eyes red already, "Evan Buckley tell me whats going on," Bobby asked holding his cheeks, "Did you do something illegal?" "No I know someone who did and they probably want me to testify," he gagged.

With Bobby's coaxing he left the engine. The two officers were still stood there not approaching Buck, "I think it's best we have this talk somewhere private," Detective Grey tried to sound sympathetic, "I'm not going anywhere without Bobby," Buck whispered clinging to Bobby, the two exchanged brief sentences before guiding the meeting to the captains office, "Would either of you two like a coffee or tea?" Bobby asked, "Neither thanks," Detective Rowan smiled softly. "Now lets calmly figure out whats going on hey," Bobby comforted Buck, "We reopened the case of your friend's death. What was never answered is what he was doing there to be begin with, find out why he was there we find out why he died," "Who is this friends Buck?" "Callum we were mates in school. He died from smashing his head into a pavement," "We found dirt under his fingernails in a recent reanalysis, looking back at crime scene photos we noticed this overturned patch basking in sunlight surrounded by flowers," Detective Rowan softly spoke pushing forward the photo, "We dug up the spot and found in a shoe box, well," it was a digitally enhanced photo to prevent upsetting there only potential witness, "A baby?" Bobby questioned hugging Buck, "Evan who's baby is that?" "You already know," "We suspect but we need to hear it from you," "It's my baby, Callum was the father. I didn't know till I felt the pains, I called my sister but she couldn't help so I went to my best friend and baby daddy Callum. He told me that he was taking my little girl to the hospital then coming back for me, he left me alone all night under a slide in a children's jungle gym. He came back in the morning without our little girl he refused to tell me anything he wasn't wearing his favourite top anymore it was a Calvin Klein polo, he told me never to tell anyone or he'd kill me. Next evening he disappeared again then was found dead," "Where were you?" "In bed with my mum and sister rotating who sat with me because I had developed an infection that they couldn't find the source, it's all my fault," "No Buck honey it's not, babies happen, you gave birth alone under a slide then had your baby taken from you with zero explanation then threatened. Your okay."

Bobby had Buck in his lap like a baby rocking him back and forth. He could only imagine the trauma that he endured, what it did to him.
