GOD'S SHOW WITH ZOE

OUR DILEMMA

"Any calls yet?" I asked expectantly.

"Nope" She answered, her attention stuck on what she was doing on her phone.

"Messages?" I inquired again hoping for a positive answer.

"None i could see" She said again still on her phone.

"Not even a single voicemail from them?" I asked getting frustrated by the minute.

"No, Zoe Ese Anderson you have to calm down!. If there's any update, i'm sure they will inform us" Precious stated with annoyance written all over her face. She had stopped whatever she was doing on her phone and was staring directly at me.

I knew she was already annoyed by my constant questions because she called me by my full name and that only happens whenever she is angry which is quite rare. I know you might have noticed, Yes I'm an Edo girl a full breed at that....Both my parents hails from there, interesting isn't it? I know.

"And quit pacing, you could get dizzy doing that" She added, her attention back on her phone.

Suddenly my legs began to hurt, showing signs of fatique so i slumped on the nearest couch close to me.

Aaargh...Now that feels good.

We were currently at the living room. Watching the wall clock slowly tick by, i eventually got bored so i glanced at an engrossed Precious and i couldn't help but wonder what made her so cool right now. Currently i felt like i could die out of curiosity because it was literally eating me up, but there she was calm as a dove and so engrossed on her phone.

Wondering what got her attention, i decided to voice out my thoughts.

"What are you even doing on your phone Precious that got you all serious?" I asked making eye contact with her.

"Well for your information, i'm checking out the responses from the show. I guess you haven't done that right?" She stated with a 'duh' look. I knew it was a Rheotical question but i still decided to answer with a nod, which after she smirked, making a "You will never change" face.

So i know you guys might be placing the blame on me, well don't blame me yet until you hear me out. After Me and precious were done with the show, i noticed my phone had shut down due to low battery so i couldn't get to check it out and that was why i continually asked precious for update fron her phone earlier. So you see why i couldn't do it...

"Don't blame me yet precious, You know my phone's battery has been dead ever since" I smiled.

"I know and that's why you need to_" She said with an amused smile but got interrupted by her phone's ringtone.

Checking who it was, We discovered it was her Dad who was calling which made both our faces lit up in anticipation. Deep down we were both scared to pick up the call because we were uncertain of how the call will end, but i know we eventually just have to man up to take the call and that was what Precious did.

Placing it on loud speaker, We heard Him say only three words.

"He is awake"

And I must say those three words were what we needed to hear.

...truly more than enough for us.

Immediately the driver stopped the cab in front of the hospital, We both jumped out and sprinted towards the main entrance of the building. Thank Goodness I still remembered the route to the hospital so it was easy to direct the driver, or less only God would have known what would have happened to us.
