In the vast sea of shimmering screens,
lives are woven with curious means.
Invented names, faces portrayed,
mirrors reflecting dreams handmade.
Be who you want, wear the disguise,
a daring hero or a heart that lies.
Each word a thread of truth to spin,
blending the real with what’s within.
In clicks and posts, a stage unending,
where the soul wonders, “Who am I pretending?”
Between pixels and filters, echoes decay,
but the mask’s emptiness won’t fade away.
Behind the screen, a world unwinds,
the authentic self left far behind.
Yet maybe, through shadows and fantasy’s art,
lies the courage to be true, to start.
