Inside me, two souls dance,
One seeks the light, peace, and hope,
The other gets lost, walks in the dark,
Searching for something to fill the void,
To heal the heart.
The light shines bright, with promises of calm,
But the shadow is relentless, it touches deep in the soul,
While one side calls me to fly,
The other pulls me back, makes me hesitate.
Who am I?
Between these two worlds, who can I be?
Is the light enough, or do I need the darkness
To understand my truth, to know myself?
In smiles, I hide my scars,
In gentle gestures, the memories that haunt me,
The struggle between being whole and being broken
Is a battle that never ends,
Where love and hate meet,
Where forgiveness and anger embrace.
And so I go, from light to light, from shadow to shadow,
Trying to be more than the reflection I see,
Trying to be myself,
In the eternal dance between being and not being,
Between the clear and the dark,
Where duality is the only certainty
I have.
