Inside Her, a Sky

She was small, but full of worlds.
Her gestures were gentle, and there was a light in her eyes no one stopped to see.
She spoke little, but felt deeply.
And in silence, she waited for someone to notice her
not for what she showed on the outside,
but for everything she held within.

Surrounded by loud voices, empty glitter, and hurried footsteps,
she seemed like just another.
But she wasn’t.
Inside her, a whole sky breathed:
golden gears moved dreams,
memories swayed slowly,
and there was love so much love folded into the corners of her chest.

She didn’t ask for much.
Only to be listened to.
Only for someone to look at her with time and truth,
and say:
"I see you."

But no one did.
And little by little, she began to close.
Tucking away the wings she never got to open.
Until one day, tired of waiting, she broke.

And when the fragments glowed,
when silence tore open and the sky slipped out in light,
that’s when they looked.
That’s when they wanted to understand.
But it was too late.
There was nothing left to explain.
