We live in strange times.
We’ve lost people we never imagined losing,
watched hope slip through our fingers,
and been swept up in a sea of emotions
where swimming is a daily fight.
We’re tired.
And rightly so.
But tiredness doesn’t make us weak
it makes us human.
Some days, it’s all too much.
But even on those days,
we weren’t made for loneliness.
We don’t have to face everything alone.
We must trust the people beside us,
those who hold our hand
even when we don’t speak a word.
Shutting ourselves off might feel safer,
but it’s love that heals.
When we open our hearts, even wounded,
the light comes in.
And lifts us up.
