I walked through winters inside of me,
streets with no light, promises lost.
Luck was an absence, a faded plea,
echoes of falls that time couldn’t frost.
Aimless days, and colourless nights,
each step a burden, each dream undone.
I carried the silence, avoided the heights,
not knowing if hope would ever come.
But then...
the unlucky course of my life was reversed,
by the sudden lucky charm that came into my life.
You came like a breeze breaking through the haze,
with eyes so calm, so firm, so bright.
No promise made, no charted phase
just presence, simple, born of light.
In one small gesture, the world realigned,
chaos found rhythm, my soul found peace.
You laughed, and fate seemed kind;
you touched, and all my fears would cease.
You were lighthouse, harbor, home
the unexpected miracle time chose to show.
Now I walk with no need to roam,
each step more certain, more slow.
If misfortune tried to tear me apart,
it was your love that revived my heart.
