The cover isn't great. The image itself is alright, but the fonts are hard to see. It's also not particularly eye-catching.

Title: 8/10

The title is okay. At first, I was trying to make sense of it but once I started reading it was obvious.

Blurb: 9/10

The blurb is fine. It introduces the characters and the main plot nicely.

Character: 8/10

The characters were good. I liked how you wrote them. I did find a few things a little unrealistic, but then again, just because I probably wouldn't make the same choices doesn't mean nobody would. I enjoyed reading their conversations; they both seemed to be very sweet and smart people.

Plot: 18/20

The plot is okay. It's taking its time setting up, and I can tell this isn't going to be a fast-paced novel, so it's good the way it's going. I enjoyed the pacing. I also like that this seems just to be a feel-good, slightly philosophical book. You are doing a good job at introducing troubles with the characters and making sure there's something interesting. The cliffhanger at the end of chapter one was perfect.

Writing style: 19/20

I really enjoy your writing style. It's descriptive and immersive. I liked your use of metaphors, especially the puzzle one in chapter four. There were a few parts that I felt were a little confusing and some of the dialogue didn't feel very natural. Other than that, I like your style a lot.

Grammar/spelling/vocabulary: 8/10

Some of the punctuation made things confusing. I did notice a few errors. One was in chapter five. The line should say, "why in the world would they get married?" I don't think the original line was necessarily wrong; it just felt unnatural. (I could be wrong about this, and it could've been grammatically incorrect.)

Enjoyment: 9/10

I enjoyed reading this, and I will attempt to continue. I can't make promises, though.

Overall: 90/100

Overall, you have the start to a strong book. The characters are interesting, the plot is engaging, and the writing is beautiful. Just work a little on punctuation to clear some things up. Keep writing!!
