Cover: 7/10

The cover isn't awful, but it isn't great. It should be clearer and a little more eye-catching. I think the image itself is fine, but maybe make the letters a little bigger, especially for the title.

Title: 8/10

The title is okay. It's easy to recall and fits the genre and plot.

Blurb: 8/10

I like the last few lines. They are full of suspense. The first sentence is a little wordy and clunky. Otherwise, the blurb is okay.

Character: 9/10

The characters are interesting. They all bring something different to the stroy. I particularly found Elmali and Sethuka interesting. Their dialogue was well written and made them complex characters in a single chapter.

Plot: 18/20

The plot is engaging. I like the suspenseful nature of it. It's paced very well. The interlude is placed perfectly and adds to the story rather than feeling out of place. It could've felt jarring but it felt like it belonged there.

Writing style: 19/20

Your writing is good. The descriptions are immersive and the dialogue for the most part feels natural.The descriptions in the third paragraph of part two stood out as being particularly well written.

Grammar/spelling/vocabulary: 8/10

There were some mistakes. I don't understand why "Ariya" is in quotation marks in the first part.

Enjoyment: 9/10

I enjoyed this a lot. Will hopefully have time soon to continue. I can't promise though.

Overall, I think you have the start of an amazing book. The plot is good, and the writing is engaging. You have a lot of talent. Keep writing!!
