I used to think that life is a series of quotes formed together to become a story. There are different quotes, there are sad quotes, motivational quotes, love quotes – that's why life doesn't have a single genre.
But when you're on the page where you can't find your ups and you're drowning in your downs, you'll feel like your life sucks. Cursing here, cursing there, losing hope, not trusting people, or even wishing to disappear to escape the pain. You can really relate to sad quotes, right? Upon reading those kinds of quotes, you'll definitely feel certain that life is nothing but suffering and unfairness. Sad quotes will fuel the ache in your heart – don't let it scratch your soul though.
But know that everything's temporary, even your hardest battles. One day, you'll just wake up and find your self reading love quotes. Like whoa! When did I become interested in that kind of stuff? Back then you ignore those because you find it cringe or perhaps you just simply can't relate. But life says, "Alright, it's time for love quotes." So, you dwell on that. However, sad quotes missed you, so, it came back – silly me broke my heart. You know what? Life is not only about romantic relationships. We can fall in love without breaking our hearts into pieces, sure. But letting someone enter our lives – thinking they'll know how to hold us but they don't – a mistake. Yet, things happen for the sake of growth and experience. Fall in love with the beauty of the world instead.
So, we'll go to motivational quotes. It's the part of your life where you feel like you're so productive and you're unbreakable. All you know is that you need to work things out and you will do it no matter what. I love this part, that's when I'll see myself fearless – even for once. Life does not revolve around a single context. Sometimes, we're frustrated, carefree, and mad. It's all part of the process. We need to feel all the emotions to know better. In every storms we face, may we be strong to hold ourselves together. To embrace every emotions that'll shape our identity. Most importantly, to stand firm and not let the waves tore our dreams apart. May the moon shine so bright during our darkest days. May the sun warm our hearts when problems force us to be cold. May the stars make our wishes come true.
.. and for you who's still fighting and hoping that soon life will be as wonderful as what you envisioned – may the beauty of the trees and flowers put a smile on your face as they gaze upon a warrior – you.
